Spaz Stix Ultimate Backer for Mirror Chrome Aerosol Paint, Black, 3.5-Ounce

ITS chrome silver look out of a spray can.. its easy to do but the chrome is more silverfish!!

Spaz Stix makes the best rc body paint in my opinion. They have a huge variety of colors and I like the taller cans which are easier to hold compared to other brands. The color is always spot on. This black backer is super dark and really helped my color changing paint "pop" with just a few layers. Easy to use and great color. My personal favorite brand of rc body paint, doesn't flake off or crack when you hit something.

Decent backer for their spray can chrome. Lays down quickly, levels very well, and dries quickly. Doesn’t dry super glossy so though the chrome I sprayed over this was decent, it might have turned out better with a glossy base. Nozzle is okay, not great. Takes a lot of pressure to press and then paint comes out very rapidly. Quite a bit of wasted paint as a result.

This was ok. It definitely dries weird. And you can’t do it when it’s cold!

This stuff is expensive, however I have learned to stick with components of any paint system. I already reviewed the system and provided pictures of the final product. Follow instructions faithfully and you will get a finish that looks like brushed aluminum, not chrome, however.

I really like this paint took a couple trial and errors to get it figured out just used an old rc body with specialty paints u have to really be really careful about using to much or not enough because it will show when u back it up I actually just ordered the airbrush version of it i wasn't sure if it would work but I just started messing around and I laid down couple coats of the holographic spaz Stix paint then I backed it with mirror and then backed the mirror with the spaz Stix black backer and it came out amazing.

I waited so long for this to come and I was excited . I saw reviews online and it was the only paint that gave a legitimate chrome effect. What I was sold was black paint. Whoever mixed this can did a terrible job.. I bought the backer, chrome , and clear coat .. My assumption was that the black backing created the effect.. I also used the chrom paint and sprayed it on top just to make sure and even that was bad. I had chrome paint on hand that was better in every way and it wasn’t even made for this specific purpose. I’ll clear coat it afterward because obviously that helps ,.. 😒 but what a disappointment I saw reviews online with videos of the product working amazingly... I guess someone got lazy and sent me this can just for the heck of it .... it was just black. That’s all. No chrome or mirror effect... just black I could of bought a normal can of spray paint at 1/3 the cost of i knew this was going to happen
