I love this mattress, it's really deep, firm and so comfortable to sleep on. It is heavy, so it's a 2 man job to turn it, but so worth it. Great value for money and perfect in every way

I have just purchased a king size mattress, checking the reviews most seemed favourable 91 5stars out of 133 sounds good. The write up said medium with a pillow top, sounded good after all I had checked in bed shops a medium is what we wanted with a nice soft pillow top, picture looked great. This Mattress came and looks and seems very well made but is not just firm it is extremely firm, I have just been around 3 different bed shops and haven't been able to find a bed a hard as this bed. There seems to be no give in this bed at all, the pillow top is not soft, how it can be described as medium is beyond me. To get any sleep at all I have had to purchase another pillow top , I may as well have put it on the floor for the comfort it provided. very disappointed . Do not purchase unless you want a very hard mattress.

I did loads and loads of research on mattresses before I plumped for this one. It is of superior quality and very comfortable. I can't stand memory foam ones and had a budget to stick to. I was more than impressed with this. I've had mine for months now and there is no dipping or lumps. My tiny gripe is the wool buttons on the topper can be a little annoying but then my paid over £1000 for her mattress with the same problem. The bed experts will tell you no one mattress is ever exactly to ones liking and therefore need to decide to build on it. One even says he has a certain type of mattress, then a certain type of topper and another topper on that topper to get his optimum comfort! It also depends on the frame, spring divan, base divan, spring or slatted frame! I believe he is right. This mattress is wonderful but because I'm fussy and have hot sweats I actually sleep on top of a sheepskin rug (British White because they are more dense) which is on top of my 400 thread count cotton sheet which is on top of my mattress! These mattresses are good in my opinion and I'm fastidious. Delivery is iffy, mine just turned up at 10am, lucky I was in but they were fine. The mattress was well packaged and I was impressed and would buy this mattress again..

I can't believe I've had this mattress for 9 years now and it is still really comfy to sleep on! Would definitely recommend it. I'd say it's firm not medium and it is really heavy, it took 4 men to get it upstairs but definitely worth it.

It is a comfy mattress. However... the mattress arrived with a few holes and loose stitches hanging out that we had to cut free. The cushion top is actually smaller than the edges, so we lose a few centimeters (You can actually see in the picture that the cushion top doesn't come to the end of the bed). The bottom in particular rises about 5cm higher than the centre of the mattress. We got in contact with their customer service and they were very helpful, offering to replace the mattress of give us a discount. We took the discount as the mattress is actually pretty comfortable. We were advised that the cushion top softens after a few months of use and adjusts to the end of the mattress. We are still waiting. The mattress is also pretty high, so you need to buy deep fitted sheets.

We have only had this mattress a few nights but have already had very good nights sleep! It is lovely and comfy, I would say it is on the firmer side of medium, just the right amount of support.With the pillow top it is a deeper mattress so you will need to have deeper sheets to fit it properly.Great value and quick delivery made buying this an all round good experience.

As someone who is slightly on the heavier side and with back issues, I have to say this is the best mattress I’ve ever bought. Was a little sceptical at first buying online without having tried it, and the price being so resaonable. When it first arrived it looked very smart, but seemed very firm. I generally prefer firm to medium....a little give but with support. I’m happy to report after a month it started to ‘bed in’ and now, 4 years later this mattress is still as comfy as it was 4 years ago. No sagging or dents, still plenty of support. I’ve tried many mattresses over time and this is by far the best, and best value for money IMO.

I've had many mattresses in my 54 years and this is by far the worst I have ever bought. It is NOT medium by any reasonable categorisation. It is extra firm. The 'pillow top' adds no comfort but does give a surface to sink into pronounced hollows after only a few weeks. After a year I have given up on any thought of getting a good nights sleep. It was banished to the spare room but will be at the tip soon. I think I could actually make a case with the trade descriptions people that it is not as described as it is so hard. If you have tried medium mattresses at a bed shop and decided that is what you need then DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE. I suggest you read all the 1 star reviews, especially the ones left after a considerable period of ownership like mine. I feel that I have been right royally ripped off good and proper.
