It works well and does the job, if you follow instructions on assembly and use (in particular, don't over-tighten the chain and keep it oily). It's not balanced in terms of weight distribution, though, so most of the weight goes with the motor at the far end of the handle rod - made my hands tired pretty quickly when working over a high (>2m) fence.

Easy to assemble and more powerful than I thought it would be. Possibly a tad heavy, for some, when fully extended but I think that depends on age and strength. It's already saving me money as I usually employ somebody to lop of any unwanted large branches.

I have had this product for a while now and has always performed well until today using as just handheld it will not work but when connected to the telescopic arm works perfectly I'm totally bamboozled

Heavy to use on pole but works fine as a chainsaw. Managed to chop down a tree and also prune others

As soon as you open the box you can see that this is well made - the mains cable is heavy duty and the Chain is simple and easy to fit, tightening the chain is also very simple, unlike others I have used which require a screwdriver - no tools are required for this task. Attaching the power pack is a little stiff. I nearly returned this item as being dead on arrival, until I realised that the kick-back guard was fully forward - this need to be pulled back to the on position -you will find this a bit stiff. This saw is a dream to use
