Bradove Classic Embroidery Learning Kit

I am fairly experienced with needlework but haven’t done any embroidery for a few years so I picked this kit up as a refresher course. I am very impressed. The materials included are not top quality but they do the job in the main. The only thing I changed was the hoop as I prefer plastic. Even the scissors do an ok job. The best part absolutely has to be the quality of the instructions. The booklet has step by step instructions for all the stitches and plenty of pictures. There is also a QR code for each stitch that links to a YouTube video if you need an example. The videos show you everything there is to know about the stitches. Topics covered start right at the basics of how to use a hoop and thread a needle. Just about everyone could use this kit. Even children from around age 7 with a bit of adult help. It has been easy and fun to complete. I plan to stitch the individual fabric squares together to make a book along with some more advanced stitches. This kit comes highly recommended.

The Bradove beginners kit is absolutely fantastic. I am definitely a beginner and knew nothing aside from threading the needle. The booklet and tutorial videos (available via qr codes) provide you with basic and easy to understand instructions while the kit provides you with everything you’ll need to get started. I was a little apprehensive as I’m hopeless at sewing but this has been brilliant and really boosted my confidence and after competing the first pattern of stitches, am looking forward to learning the others. If I can learn via this kit, anyone can! The price is fantastic too! I’d recommend it whole heartedly.

Have to say I’m thoroughly enjoying this kit! Instructions are good - plenty of thread etc in the kit. I’ve nearly finished the first set of stitches. Would recommend for beginners!

Lovely kit, gives you everything you need to get started.There’s a few instructions where I’ve needed to check the video or other YouTube options to check i get it right & others where it refers to numbers that aren’t on the sheet but you can figure that out.Really enjoying working my way through the various stitches and building confidence.

Unopened as a Christmas present however appears from the box to be exactly as I required. Arrived speedily too and well packaged in an attractive box

Really good, very good quality with clear instructions

It is a really good product. It contains everything you need to complete the embroidery & the instructions with the accompanying u tube videos, are really easy to follow.I loved this product & will definitely order from them again.It would be a great present for someone starting embroidery.

I have received the wrong embroidery fabrics. Instead of embroidery fabrics 1, 2, 3 and 4, I have received no “embroidery stitches-1”, and instead received two of the “embroidery stitches-4”. There is no contact information so not sure what to do. Purchased this product on the 26th of Jan 2025.

I bought this kit as I wanted to see whether embroidery was for me as well as get some practice with a few of the basic stitches.As the kit says, it includes everything you need to get started - an embroidery hoop, scissors, a needle threader, a seam ripper, four needles, four cloths with printing, and a LOT of embroidery floss (I ended up with a fair amount extra of each color.)None of the stuff is super high quality...which is expected for a $20 kit. (I suspect that I'm going to replace the scissors and hoop at some point since, y'know, why not?) But it does have EVERYTHING.The instructions were clear and also included links to videos that I could watch if I was having trouble with a stitch (@#$# french knots, @#$#). So that was helpful and useful.I also liked that there was a fair range of stitches (I think they said 29, but three were repeats) included, so I felt like I learned a lot. The instructions also clarified when someone might use one type vs. another. I also liked that, once I'd finished them, I had them "saved" on cloth to reference.My embroidery, of course, didn't turn out as good as featured in the pictures...which wasn't unexpected. (I mean, I'm a total amateur.) But I think I did okay.Regardless, if embroidery is something you're interested in trying, I feel like this kit is a good value for money, easy to follow, and pretty helpful. So definitely recommended.
