Razor Spark 2.0 Kick Scooter

Ok-I bought this for me, not my kids but we all love it. I use it for communiting partially to work and just for fun. The light up wheels are super cool as is the spark thing that you press to leave a trail of sparks. It really does work. Why not get a scooter that will make you laugh every time you use it, as well as leave others smiling as you zip by? Also, here's what is super cool about it, that they need to include in the photos. It literally folds down to a rectangle. The handlebar slides down and then the bottom part folds up. You can also unhook the red handlebars to make it more compact. This way, if you can get an extra long backpack, you are able to put it in. I found a Northface back pack that is extra long yet still very compact to hold it in. Most regular size backpacks won't be big enough to fit it all the way in. The only negative thing would be is that if you are taller than 5'5", the handlebars might not be tall enough for you. So to the product designers, it may have been better if you had varying heights (and taller) handle bar sizes. It only seems to lift to one height, so you can't make it smaller or taller depending on your height. Also, for a more comfortable and stable ride, I wish the bottom part were wider, but maybe that's why it's called a Razor, since it's so thin. I can't really put two feet up comfortably. Finally, it's not a stiff ride, so you feel like the handle bars move around too fast. I would prefer if I had more control over it. One more thing, be careful if dogs are near by. I thought one was going to attack me as I zipped by a house and it either didn't like the sound of tthe wheels or the lights, or both. it scared the crap out of me as I zipped by. This is really a good by for the look, money, and fun.

My grandson graduated from elementary school. And was planning a graduation party. I needed a graduation gift and he was wanting one of these for so long. So I ordered it. The graduation party was a disappointment!! Cake fell on the floor! His best friend was late. he was not happy!! UNTIL I gave him this!! It was like none of that bad stuff happened!!! He forgot all about it!!! It eas so good to see him happy again!! He loves riding it at night because of the way the sides light up and it sparks so bright. The only bad thing about this scooter is the sparks run put quick! And that's because you have to step on the spark cartrage to activate it. And heLOVES the spark effect!!! So buy extra cartrages!! This is a great scooter purchase!! And a good price compaired to others. So, go ahead & buy it!!! It will surly put a smile on your childs facs too!! Oh, and one other thing...don't forget to use safty!! Buy a helmet, elbo & knee pads!! It's about protecting your child...not your wallet!!!

My son received this for a birthday gift as a replacement for his previous scooter that was broke. His face lit up when he realized the wheels lit up and he could make sparks fly off the back. Great concept! The wheels move great, the handle is the perfect height (he's nearly 5 ft tall) and the platform for his foot is the perfect size as well. The only reason I rated this a 4 and not 5 is after a few weeks of using the sparks on the back, the spark casing came off mid-ride and bent. We were able to bend the casing back and fit it back on the scooter. I have also ordered replacement sparks because, well, he's 9 and loves the sparks so much he's worn them down.

This review was written by the 11 year old who rides it.This scooter is great.Speed- Very fast-not unlike other razor scooters.Durability- The wheel comes uneven with the handlebars easily, but this took about 5 hours of straight riding to happen.It is sturdy.Sparks- They are HUGE. You may want to consider using them somewhere that you don't care about because the spark cartridge will scratch concrete surfaces such as brick walkways.Lights- You can't really see them in daylight but at night they look cool.Comfort- The handle bars are made of a material that is almost like memory foam which is great, but the deck is so thin that you can't fit both feet next to each other.Overall its a great scooter.

Product is doing good. Wish it had a kickstand

My 7 year old daughter loves it, and so do her friends! She said she has the "coolest" one on the block. The lights on the wheels and down the side are really nice, especially at night. The spark bar just adds that much more excitement. I warned her that using it heavily would result in no more spark bar for her (it would run out quickly) but surprising it has lasted a lot longer than expected but she does use it "sparingly". Rolls easily and quiet! It doesn't make that cheap hard plastic noise that sounds like you're grading the road with a rake (wheels are not plastic). Folds easily and light enough for her to tote it and store it. Mom has rode it too, we love it!

Bought this for my 8 year old daughter to upgrade her from Razor Jr (3 wheeler) scooter. She enjoys cruising on this even more because it is slimmer and she could weave into narrow lanes easily. She plays with it everyday and doesn't get bored with it as compared to other toys. The wheels would light up as she cruise and the lights would get brighter as she goes faster. The side of the stepping pedal would light up when she press the brake. She have not used the spark function yet as I afraid the spark may burn her skin, so I would not comment on the spark issue. The build up is steady and the height of the vertical bar can be adjusted as she grows.

I bought this scooter for my daughters 7th birthday. She requested the scooter with lights in the wheels and this one goes one step further with LEDs in the deck that light when you hit the spark bar in the back. She loved the scooter from the minute she hit the sparks in the driveway. The unit is assembled upon arrival and just swings out and snaps together. Pretty much the easiest present ever as all I had to do was hit a lever and snap a couple pieces into the handle tube. My son now wants an early birthday present of exactly the same thing, so it looks like the Razor company will be getting a couple more bucks out of me.

Was on the wish list for a soon to be 5 year old and was a huge success. Scooter is as described and fun to watch, especially as it gets dark out.

Bought two and have had them for a few weeks now. The boys are crazy about them. Lights are cool, sparks are cool - over all scooter is awesome. Our kids use them pretty much every day. Great purchase.
