I accidentally threw out the pre filter on my dustbuster so I ordered this replacement. It's perfect, works just like the original

Lost my original filter. This one fits perfectly and now my dust buster is working again

My hand vac was losing vac power becaue the old filter was plugged with years of use. Replacing the filter restored the vac power...at less cost.

Works as described

Exact fit with the black and decker hand-held vacuum i have. i have washed the old filter so many times, and this was just a lot easier and i can guaraantee its filtering capabilities. this is just a filter, you need to get the vacuume separately.

This didn't fit my black and Decker dust buster. I could not find a model number on mine, so it's my fault. I literally took a hot knife and cut this down to make it fit in my dust buster because the flimsy filter hag was a pain to empty in mine. Everything stuck to it, and I needed a prebag filter. It fit after cutting off a bunch .

If you are like me, your Hand Vac is the most abused appliance in the house. Plug, unplug, on, off, on, turbo mode, empty, reassemble, all while I am late for something so taking extra good care of it is often a low priority. Eventually the filter clogs up from not being cleaned as often as it should, and no amount of filter cleaning is going to help. As will a lot of OEM, Black & Decker overcomplicates things by making an odd shaped filter frame so they can charge a premium for them. This filter is a nice work around for those who find it is almost cheaper to buy a new hand vac then to get a new filter. I had no issue slotting this into place and it was just as easy to clean after use as the OEM model. While the framing and seal were more rigid then the OEM, they were well with in acceptable to tolerances. After using the hand vac and cleaning the filter twice, I felt confident enough to throw the old one away.

My Black and Decker Dustbuster vacuum didn't come with a pre-filter, it is a nice addition that helps prevent the filter from being clogged with difficult to clear debris allowing longer lasting use from the filter. Add to this that the filter fits perfectly and this product is really a winner. I have previously tried filters that claimed to be the right size and were not, this set of filter and pre-filter are definitely a great buy!
