Top Grain Leather is nice
The Powered Headrest is one of the best features. The Power Recline makes it easy to adjust the footrest in the right position. The Led lights are just like the ones in the theater. The cup holder is large enough to hold a yeti 30-ounce cup. Don't like the lumbar support, it's not very comfortable but that is one thing I don't like with any seat that has a lumbar support. The chair is wide, and you have too lean to the right or left to use the arm rest. The hidden in arm storeage under is deep and roomy. Swivel tray table will not go over my legs, the mounting arm is too short to allow it. Overall, the chair is not very comfortable. I would send it back if wasn't so big bulky to handle.

Not exactly as I was expecting, but a great recliner, regardless!
Buying online is a little risky, because you can't actually feel the material. This is my second online recliner, as I immediately returned the last one I bought. I decided to risk it one more time, and I'm not disappointed at all. However, from the pics, I was expecting buttery-soft leather, which it's not. It's a tough leather, like what you'd expect when looking at high-quality, real leather recliners. I'm probably a novice when it comes to knowing about leather, and all the different ways it can be finished, but I can tell that this leather is going to last a lifetime. Speaking of quality, this chair is rock-solid! I broke my last recliner, but I'm confident the Equinox will handle lots of abuse. One of the things that I thought could use a little design improvement, are the LED lights. - should have a separate switch to turn off the base light - should have a dimmer for the lightsThe base light is really bright! In my theater room, it would certainly be bright enough to throw off the colors on my projector screen. I've read posts about people adding a dimming cover, sold separately. I think that's a bandaid on the problem. I ended up cutting the zip ties holding the LED rope light on the bottom of the chair, flipping the rope to the other side of the bar it was on, then zip tyjng it in place. Made a huge difference, and it just took a couple minutes! Look through the pics to see how I did it, and the results. One other little gripe I have is the SoundShaker plug. It's set up to accept the proprietary plug from the matching amp, sold separately. It would've been nice if they added an open-ended plug to connect to an external amp. Intead, I'll have to it and replace the plug with a standard RCA plug, or bare POS/neg wires.Other than that, I'm really happy with this recliner! It's really comfortable, and I imagine the leather will soften over time. The price is actually less than many of the leather Lay-Z-Boy recliners I was looking at, and with way more bells and whistles. On top of all that, it's an absolutely beautiful chair! It looks so good in my living room, and makes everything else in the room look a little more classy! I'm definitely going with a row of these in the theater room, when I'm ready.

Right idea. Very wrong execution and I regret buying it.
Edit:I've had some quality issues with the chair in the last 6 months including finding magic marker marks on the leather that cant be removed, and the footrest ripped and left foam all over the house. However, customer service from 4seating has been phenomenal. They shipped me a new one shortly after I contacted them. Unfortunately, since I dont like the chair, I'm going to have to sell it now.Everything about this chair screams high quality - at first. Then you realize how bad it is when its too late and you just paid $1600 for the chair and the soundshaker amp. Every good quality of this chair has a negative side effect.- Love the LED lights. That is, until you have company or open it while watching a movie and everyone in the room is blinded by them. Seriously, that neon light is insanely bright to everyone else. Good thing it just shuts off at random on you.- Love the swivel table, until you realize that its practically impossible to eat from due to the position and it covers half of a cup holder. Also scratches very easily.- The electric recline - who could argue with that - except that the controls are nonsensical, and the chair itself makes this sound thats like the biggest fart you can imagine because of the leather panels rubbing together. But hey, the motor is quiet!! At least I think it is. Cant hear it over the massive fart sound. I hate getting up from this chair.- The memory function - works a couple of times and then just forgets your setting entirely. Suddenly you're flat on your back like youre at the dentist about to get a root canal.- The leather is great quality - nice and thick. I'd love it if my motorcycle jacket was made from it because it wouldnt scratch in a crash. For sitting on, its rough and somehow slippery at the same time. Not good. This is supposed to be top quality leather but its not soft or supple like it should be.- Comfort? Pretty much forget about it. This thing is hard and the padding barely gives. Its like sitting on a rock. I expected to be comfortable after paying $1200- Soundshaker is cool - but incredibly weak. It takes serious bass sounds coming from my receiver to even register on this thing. I have everything on the amp turned to the max.- The soundshaker receiver (I realize this is a different product, but I consider it part of the chair design to have included this product) - the receiver interferes with every other wifi device you have going in the house. Hope you dont like using your phone or tablet when watching tv.- The headrest - when you adjust it, it should support your neck, not push the top of your head forward. Who thought that would be a good idea?- The arm rests are only half as long as the arm of the chair, so its really more of an elbow rest while 60% of your forearm and hand just dangle from the end.- Bottom portion of the chair is tall. I.. am not. So my feet dangle.- The only fully positive thing I have to say about this chair is the storage in the arm rests.I should really try to send this thing back.

Dinner & A Movie Ready
The media could not be loaded. Delivered with care, packed with care. Very comfortable and easy to put together, comes with back rest and bottom chair. Easy to ensemble and leather is very soft to the touch. Lumbar support adjust and is great. A few disappointing areas for me is that in its home position the chair appear partly reclined and the levers to adjust and recline feel very flimsy, hope they last at least a few years (fingers crossed). Aldo accessories were not available. So I had to search multiple 3rd party sites and only found the phone holder. *Created my 1st ever video review hope it gets published with this review. Definitely a sound buy. Thanks Seatcraft.
