Amazing Drapery Hardware High Profile Box Mounting Brackets for 2.5" Horizontal Blinds - Fits 2 1/8" x 2 3/4" Headrail - White, 1-Pair (2 Pieces) with Screws

OMGoodness, so difficult to install!!!!! I'm 79 years old, this may have had something to do with my installation difficulties.

I purchased these brackets to use on my wooden blinds that are roughly 8-10 years old. I held on to these blinds due to the cost of them in hopes that someday I would have windows to use them on. I finally have the windows in place but misplaced the brackets. These brackets are exactly as described -I needed to alter the bracket (by bending a metal tab) in order for it to work with my existing blind, which was minor as I expected to need to as the blinds are older. I was just happy to be able to find the correct dimensions for this headrail. They work perfect! I was hopeful to find in cream color for good price, but the valance hides the bracket so white it is :)

Brackets were very easy to install. We mounted them directly on French doors to hang mini blinds over the windows for privacy. Blinds look great. The 2.5" were a little large (2" were too small and there were no 2.25" x 2") but the latch held the blinds securely. These brackets seemed pricey, but they are an irregular size that can't be found at the hardware stores or DIY stores.

Be extra sure of measurements when ordering these! I ordered the wrong size and didn't realize it until after I had already painted them the color I needed (i couldn't find the size I thought I needed in brown) so I can't return them now. Even though they are a little large for my blinds, they hung well and my blinds work again! Just be sure to measure!!

Sturdy, easy to install. I have the heavy (like really heavy) wood slat blinds that bent my old brackets after awhile of opening and closing. These went right into the old brackets holes, haven't bent under the weight and pull of the blinds yet. Just make sure you actually measure which size brackets you need.

I bought some 2 1/2 in horizontal blinds from a home improvement store and they only came with hardware to connect to the top of the window jam. My window design required that they be installed 6" below the top so I needed side brackets. These worked perfect and were easy to install.

I really like the brackets that I bought they were a little bit bigger than I need it but they did the job so be very careful on which ones you order.

The window we had didn’t have a way to add the new blinds we purchased from the top, Luke the ones that were included in the box. We purchased these and we were able to make the new blinds work!
