Great quality
Good value, cloud subscription not required which is the absolute best. Doesn’t eat up ISP data for those with caps and can record to SD card. The bad...the app is not good. I cannot turn off the red badge alert that keeps saying I have a “system message”. Even though that section is blank. And the app does not allow the option to download to your camera roll, only to store on your phone within the app itself. If you need proof of something it’s almost impossible to get the video off your phone to send to someone else

Replacement light is really good!
The new type of free cam spot light is an improvement on the old style! The original light and camera used a magnet coupling to mount the camera onto the light fitting, this was a cool idea, however would have been susceptible to theft. Freecam do offer cloud storage, by way of a monthly subscription. With the old style mount, if you didn’t have the subscription and someone stole the camera, you would lose your footage and the camera. The replacement light has a fixed bracket, this makes it far more difficult to remove the camera and therefore more of a secure package. Well done on the improved version! I now have three Freecam products, and they all work very well.

ONLY works on 2.5 gh router, but you probably have that.
This product does exactly what it claims to do. I suspect that those who couldn't connect to the internet were not cognizant that it ONLY works on 2.5 gh. Most routers have both 5 and 2.5, you just have to designate which to sign on to. It was a bit confusing to set everything up, but once I figured it out (and I am not terribly tech savvy), it worked perfectly. Picture is great. Must buy the cloud storage for $5 per month per camera to see historical footage, but that's cheap.

Wiring wrong, customer service number for freecam is invalid number
Camera worked when plugged into charger in the house, stopped working the second we hooked to light outside. Tried calling customer service for the company, not a working number. Ended up retiring and getting a totally different one

NICE & WORTH THE $$$
Was very easy to install and set up! Love that if I travel, I can check on my house and even talk to my dogs when their outside! LOL!

Wifi won't connect
Camera would not connect to wifi....tried both 5.0mhz and 2.5mhz..light looks ok but never hooked it up....

NOT A RING
its not the ring, waste of time. limited to what router you have. not compatable with majot name routers or a least that was the excuse for not installing

Can not connect to WiFi and there is no tech support to assist with the service
Looks good light works but it can not connect to the internet even though it requires 2.4 mb still did not connect after I called my wifi provider
