First I want to say kudos to Amazon for having this in my hand within 40 hours of ordering it, delivered on a Sunday even.Second, the product itself is excellent! Extremely bright, multiple settings for high beam, low beam, flashing and adjustable beam size from a wide headlamp style to a pin-spot for more detailed viewing. I love that the light can be easily removed and used as a flashlight! Great touch. Well made. The rear light is also excellent, the leds are bright and can also be set as solid or fast/slow strobe. Very versatile. Both lights easily detach from their mounting hardware so you can pop them off in seconds and carry them with you, no fear of theft on these! I cannot imagine there's a better bang for my buck.Most importantly though, Team Obsidian's customer service is akin to old school service, back from a time when the company cared about every single customer on an individual level. I'm in a position in my life where suddenly every penny counts, so quality and customer service is top of the scale for me. I need a product that will last, and a company that will stand behind it. I had another light kit in my cart when I saw this one and read the reviews. On top of the raving reviews, I noticed one fo the founders of the company was answering every single comment. That's huge for me right now. I'm in CS and I know how tough that can be when you have thousands of customers, but also how important it is! So I switched to this light kit and hit the order button. Today, before I received the shipment, I received an email from the same founder, Cristina, thanking me for the purchase as well as some info on using the light, and providing contact info in case I need it for any reason. Awesome! I responded with how much that meant to me and got an almost instant, personal response again. That personal touch, that level of customer service, goes a really long way with me. It's huge. I will order more of TeamObsidians products, as well as recommend it to everybody I come across. The product being top notch is just icing on the cake. I could not be more satisfied with this purchase!

Yes, it's a seemingly small item, not of much importance to many. I decided on this particular item fairly randomly.I was pretty sure that I will get a so-so quality item, primarily due to the low cost but that the budget I had for this. It arrived faster than promised and WOW. It was beautifully & professionally packed. Elegant and well protected. It was easy to mound and it is more than bright enough. It is welll made and it gives the confidence I needed for night-ride. The note that came with it was friendly and assuring. The next day I received a very nice message from the company - very friendly, very professional and with reassurances about the product. I have to say WOW again because in this cold and not so friendly often enough, this family-owned company sure makes a good product and makes you feel that they do care. Any day this would be a ray of light. These days - even more so. I rarely write detailed responses but I feel that they deserve my applause. This is my true & honest impression and it is not a part of any sales pitch. I highly recommend buying prodicts from this brand. They care.

These bike lights are a great budget option. I've had them for almost a year now and have ridden in all types of weather with them with very few issues.Flashlight: This is actually a pretty nice flashlight. It's made from machined aluminum and is actually just a good general flashlight to have around the house. The LED is bright enough to light a 30 foot section in front of my bike that is as wide as a neighborhood street. I don't have to change the batteries that often but luckily they are AAA so they are common and easy to replace. I haven't had any issues yet with water getting in through the seals but I haven't actually submerged the light completely in water, just rode in rain/snow.Rear Light: The rear light is very bright. It lights up my entire back tire and a large spot on the road behind me. It has 6 or 7 different flashing modes which to me is an inconvenience because I end up having to press the button 6 times just to turn it off every time. I don't think it's necessary that it have so many flashing modes, but that aside it's still a great light. It feels a little cheap but I haven't had any issues with it getting damaged or coming apart.Mounts: The plastic mounts are where this product falls short. They're made of a pretty cheap, flimsy plastic that seems like it would be really easy to break in your hands. The screws to tighten the clamps down are pretty small and flimsy and can hurt to tighten past a certain point. However, that being said, once they are installed they feel pretty solid. The rubber spacers that come with it are pretty grippy and add enough thickness to go around multiple diameters of handlebars. If you tighten them down enough they will not move that much even on bumpier terrain, and I don't ever worry about the flashlight coming out of the mount. The mounts are designed so that the lights are easy to remove which I found to be the case, only takes a few seconds to remove them.These are definitely not high end bike lights, but for the price they're everything you could ask for. Easy to install, secure and bright and the flashlight doubles as a general purpose light. Useful for doing any emergency bike maintenance in the dark.

the Front light is aluminum body, which is great, the rear is plastic, both seem to have a little waterproofing mitigation, probably good for rain.The attachment system for the front light is complicated and plastic, I expect this would break pretty quickly from sunlight cracking alone. Overall, good product but.. maybe for the purpose, bike light, the mounting system leaves a little to be desired in sturdinessthe light is BRIGHT, have to aim it down or I'm blinding drivers I think
