NOT WORTH THE RISK. Lost 5 inches of my hair.
I would give this lower than one star if I could.This thing is either a REALLY good fake, a defective product which now can't be returned, or the brand has gone downhill. The outer shell gets heated so much while the iron is on that it actually burned my counter and the iron shorted without my knowing it and got stuck on the HIGHEST HEAT SETTING (which I NEVER use). I typically set it to the 15 marker (the highest is 30) and had it on 15 when I was doing my hair. It superheated in the middle of me doing my hair and I didn't realize it until it was too late, so everything from my occipital bone up is varying degrees of burnt to hell. I"m not exaggerating, I just had to cut 5 inches off of certain parts because my hair was utterly ruined.I'm sorry, I really don't do reviews that are this harsh, but HOLY WOW I either have the worst luck ever or this product is rubbish. Sorry y'all... probably not worth the risk. Upside: my new bangs and face-framing layers that I had to cut in this evening are pretty cute...

Doesn’t work well at all....
Does not heat to 455 degrees. I have the same 2 in Remington flat iron with up/down temp control buttons that works great. I figure this one being the same with the exception of the knob vs buttons to control temp, that it would work the same. Not the case. Very disappointed.

The design of the heat adjuster is not very good.The "wheel" to adjust the temperature is right where your hands goes and it gets really, really hot.You have to keep checking and turning down the temperature or it will burn your hair.

Does not work, right out of the box
Iron doesn't work, when I turn it on the light flashes off, what a waste of money since Amazon says I can't return it. Why do I purchase from Amazon fulfullment, I thought I could trust the name. ...not so much. 35.00 down the drain.

I’ve tried several flat irons from the $200 salon kind to the drugstore kind and this is **by far** my favorite purchase. This flat iron is twice as wide and it only takes me five or six minutes to do my entire head of hair which falls to the middle of my back. It heats up fast, cools down quickly, is very light weight, and leaves my hair shiny smooth and glossy. The flat iron glides and never catches on my hair - which I really like to avoid breakage. Would buy this again, recommend highly.

The product description said that it has a digital display, which is not true.

Love it except thought the temperature settings was digital
Love it, except it was bought to replace my old one which was digital (the temperature) and surprisingly this one isn't but it's listed as a new model...works well though and this remains my favourite brand of flat irons.

works great
i use it to flat iron and curl. i have longer hair and wanted wider curl waves, this worked great. i was worried because it was so cheap but its actually pretty great! no complaints. heats up super fast , has several heat settings, and makes my curls look great!
