In short order like a fantastic Ristretto I want to give you all the assets of this great machine, the Majesto.Firstly, I bought from a private seller, PLEXSUPPLY, rather than straight from Amazon. Having had problems receiving previously returned items when purchasing appliances directly from Amazon, I decided to purchase from a private seller on Amazon. They were cheaper and I promptly received a brand new, never opened Dolce Gusto Majesto. I have had this machine one full month upon writing this; and have had no error message, clogged injector needle, or any other problem. I recommend for anyone interested in purchasing The Majesto to do likewise.Secondly, it looks even cooler In real life. It looks like something out of the original Lost in Space series. If you put it next to a coffee maker or Keurig it definitely shames them.Thirdly, setup is easy and directions are given to you by the machine. Full out animated video instructions are given on the touch screen. This is one high tech machine I tell you. It walks you through setup, rinsing, and descale procedure when needed. It alerts you when to fill the hidden water tank, and when it is necessary to descale according to your water quality. It comes with tools to remove, clean, or replace the injector needle, an extra injector needle, as well as the rinsing tool (a funnel to replace a pod while running the rinse function). All these are neatly hidden in a compartment in the underside of the dandy, black and red, pod tub included with a new unopened, unreturned, Majesto machine.Fourth, the coffee is high quality. It is better than the highest quality coffees available at stores. After a few weeks of drinking only Dolce Gusto pods returning to a previously loved $20 a bag coffee was disappointing. It also beats local cafes when talking espresso. No sour here. Just a forewarning to anyone who likes the weak, watered down coffee a Keurig makes. For us who don't, there's finally a single serve coffee machine that can make a good, strong, rough around the edges coffee and short cups to boot. It froths milk beverages great, and heats all the beverages much hotter than other single serves I have tried. You actually have to wait a minute before drinking your coffee.Overall, this is a great machine. I recommend it highly. I do have a few recommendations for an even better experience. To maintain your system I recommend running the rinse feature at least weekly. When setting up the system, rinse more than once to purify the machine thoroughly. ONLY USE FILTERED WATER IF POSSIBLE. Keep the screen protector on, or replace with a trimmed cell phone screen protector. The machine can connect and update with wifi for when new drink options become available. When setting up the machine you select your date, time, and location. The machine then gives you the drink options for your region. If you buy pods on Amazon and other sites you may end up with pods that aren't on your country's menu. I found a way around this. On the menu under general you can change your location to any country on the machine. The menu for that country will then be available for you to make beverages with. According to the pods you have you can change it as often as needed. Also, under Beverage Selection in the menu you will find all drink options for that region. The main menu shows a max of 15 drinks at a time. You can select which ones you want displayed in your 15 under All Beverages, and the order you want them displayed in under the Main Screen Beverages option. Some regions have many more beverage options than others. Luxembourg for instance has 67 with everything from matcha lattes, to Americanos of various strengths, to a Moccachino Canela, and every Ristretto option they make. You really can set this machine to your taste. Just select your location according to your beverage desires, or tour the world daily changing your brews between countries. In the morning a good old dark roast coffee in The USA, a lunchtime latte in Japan, and an after dinner Ristretto in France. Enjoy!!!Lastly, either remove the pod immediately after brew; or put an extra cup under the spout as the pod will drip for a short time after pulling the drink.I think that is it. The main point is the machine is great. Just try to avoid a faulty return. If you get a bad machine try an exchange before giving up on this fun experience.I hope you enjoyed it. So far it’s running great, I was very surprised how good this looked in person. The touch screen is responsive and coffee taste great. Nothing to really complain about.

After I received the product, I was following the instructions to set it up for the first time but ai couldn't get it to work. It displayed an error message and I wemt through the troubleshooting steps multiple times but it did not work. Now that I read through the reviews it seems to be an issue with most the products in this series, it's a manufacturing/ design problem.The customer support phone number went straight to voice-mail... they called me back the next day but I told them I already returned the product.I had to request a return shipping label and still waiting for my refund. This was a nightmare, I do not recommend ordering the product.

It's a great machine, it's a little expensive but it's worth every penny.

Ordered the first one and it hooked it up when it arrived, filled tank with water, and decided to make a Cappuccino, it said the injector was clogged so it said unclog it. So I tried that, removed the hole puncher and used the little metallic cleaner they give you to clean whatever was in there. There was nothing, it was completely clean. Tried it again and same thing, I then tried running it through a rinse cycle. It said something was blocking the liquid from coming out. I turned upside down and removed the hole puncher and used the spare it comes with. Nothing worked, and it also leaked water. So okay, I got a defective unit (mind you it was brand new in box and sealed, never been opened before) I requested a replacement to be sent which I got two days later. Immediately after setting it up it asked for it be rinsed so i filled it again with water and ran the rinse cycle. NO WATER CAME OUT AGAIN! Another defective unit? really? Two in a row?!?! This one at least didn't leak water but no liquid came out of the spout, it said something was blocking it and to try to clean the hole puncher, another useless unit.This time i just ordered the third one and sent this one back. So I got it a day later. And after setting up again I thought i'd get another broken machine but this one worked right away and it makes great coffee drinks. My parents love it. Seems like a common issue with this model. I saw another review saying the same thing, its definitely a manufacture issue from factory. I'm giving it 4 stars due to the hassle of the first two not working but other than that as long as you don't get a bad one then it works great and very easy to use.

Since moving to the USA from Europe I’ve been missing my dolce gusto machine so much, I was even considering ordering one from Japan at one point 😂 I found out they were available here now and immediately purchased one. I saw there was a used one available with a 30 day return so I figured it was safe to order at only $200. I scored, big time! Machine came in the original packaging, it didn’t look used, ever, and works great! Coffee looks and tastes like it’s been made by a professional barrista and it’s extremely easy to use!!! I love that it comes with its own bin for used capsules. In a couple of minutes I can make my drink and save the $5 I’m spending at Starbucks every day!

I have been against coffee pods since day 1... and this magical unicorn of an appliance has changed my mind. I just love it when engineering and design come together to create these types of cutting edge appliances. It looks like something from a space odyssey and taste like a barista made the coffee... did I mention it's fun as hell to use? My guests love it

Machine is ok. Nice shiny and easy to use but the seller forget to ship me the capsule bin and maintenance stuff which needed for the setting up the machine.And the worst thing is I have to pay the shipping cost for the machine to arrive incomplete and another shipping to ship the incomplete machine back to the seller. How nice.
