Malouf Fine Linens Z Shredded Talalay Latex with Gelled Microfiber Bed Pillow - Standard

I was interested in replacing my down alternative pillows with latex but I was a bit reluctant to spend the money on a latex pillow without knowing if I would like it.I figured that this shredded latex pillow might be a reasonably priced way to ease into things.I don't find this pillow to be superior to my down alternative pillows but it is otherwise completely fine.The pillow, as described, does have a similar feel to a down pillow and I would recommend it to those looking for that kind of a pillow. It is not particularly supportive unless you scrunch it up under your head (similar to down).I was a bit disappointed that this pillow did not come with a cover. I have not seen any but the cheapest Walmart pillows sold without a cover. In fairness, the description does not say there is a cover- perhaps it was my mistaken assumption.I plan to buy a latex pillow from this company in the future.

I previously purchased a memory foam by this same company (lofted zoned dough something or other) it was very hard ... This is much better, very reminiscent of my down feather pillow that I loved, you can mold it much the same way ... it had no discernible odor other than a very mild one which dispersed quickly ..

Very nicely packaged and made, but too firm for me, so I'll be sending it back. It has a nice bounce and little smell and is a good deal.

Great pillow. Sleeps cool.

Love the pillow, and I’m picky

well made pillow, however I had to return because it is too high for sleeping--- caused terrible neck pain. I am a tummy sleeper. My husband who sleeps on his back and side thought it was okay.

Pillows are personal, and they are a pain in the rear to buy. Let me start by saying I have had a head injury, and I have had a headache for six years. My neck also causes me trouble too. Several years ago I purchased a memory foam pillow. Since then my memory foam pillow has started to feel like a brick. Even the thought of putting my head down on it made me not want to go to bed. My husband and I went out and tested some 25 different kinds of pillows.My husband tried a pillow with latex foam. I recently bought him a z-zoned pillow, it was a latex foam pillow with ventilation holes in it, it was surrounded by a soft bambo cover, high loft. I loved the quality of the pillow, but his pillow was too high for me, and I needed it a little softer.This pillow is shredded latex which I heard is pretty good for headache sufferers. This pillow is firm, yet flexible. It will softly cradle your head, but if you want to scrunch it up and sleep on it, you could. It does not bunch up on its own, such as if you put your head on the pillow, the stuffing doesn't shift to another side of the pillow. As a headache sufferer I cannot stand hot pillows, blech. This pillow stays relatively cool all night, it's not like cold, but cool.The pillow does have a chemical scent when it arrives. You can air it out in your room, it dissipates after a few days. I hung my pillow outside on my clothesline for a couple of hours on a cool breezy autumn day. It smelled amazing, fresh air, when I went to bed that night. The stink was gone.The only thing that I really do not like, or have not adjusted to, is that the pillow crinkles a little when I turn. It makes noise. I have never head a pillow make noise. It is a slight crinkle noise, when I am sleeping, obviously I do not hear it. If I am having a restless night, or my headaches are bad - then it annoys me - fixation like annoyance. I decided to double pillowcase the pillow on my headache days, a cotton pillowcase and then a satin pillowcase over that. This deadens the crinkle. On an average day, the crinkle is not a big deal, once you doze off, you will not notice it, it would be equivalent to a tag on a comforter. And maybe the sound will stop with enough use.The pillow is crazy comfortable. After I got it, I finally had a a full night's sleep, I didn't wake up three or four times at night with neck or shoulder pain. Pillows are personal. Try a shredded talalay latex pillow if you have the chance.

These are the most fabulous pillows I have ever slept on. The support the neck just right and fluff right back into shape every morning.

I'm a side sleeper and I never expected this to end up being so lumpy. Even after fluffing and leaving it out for quite a bit. It's painfully difficult to sleep on this lumpy mess. Do not buy.
