Great 2 player game!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:My wife and I really enjoyed the original, but we often play games by ourselves. This is a great 2 player game. It is a little involved, but not too bad. After the first 2 games, we really got the hang of it.

Another banger from Michael Kiesling!
I’ve got all of the other Azul games and I’m a big fan. This is a refreshing 2player game that is an extension of the existing family of games. Only criticism is that round tile pieces can be prone to rolling if you are careless.

Really great two player game.
This was a really fun two player game. We love the original Azul as well. My only complaint is that the boards you use are pretty flimsy. I wish they were a little bit higher quality. Overall, a really great game though.

Super fun but a steep learning curve
Having played Azul many times before, I assumed Azul Duel would be easy to learn. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I ended up watching a 25 minute video on how to play which was really helpful (I'm definitely more of a visual learner). But after we started playing, it's really fun! My husband and I love playing 2 player games so it's nice that Azul came out with a 2 player specific game. It is entertaining because there isn't a distinct strategy that works everytime so it's fun to experiment with different strategies and shift in game.

Another great Duel version of a classic game
The older I get, the harder it seems to be to get a group together to play games. Every once in a while when hanging out with family I can get something going, but more often than not my playing has been limited to monthly game nights with one particular friend. I have found Duel versions of classic tabletop games really do a fantastic job of retaining the feel of the original while streamlining the mechanics for just two players.Azul Duel is no exception. Though the original actually plays better with two players than most games, this version is truly designed around the direct competition and is actually quite a bit more complex. Building your placement grid as you go along is truly tricky, and there is a good balance to choosing between grabbing tokens, grabbing new placement tiles, or grabbing wildcard tiles (if available) that can be used later.Overall, I would say this is an excellent two player version, and I envision getting a lot of rounds out of it going forward.

Perfect as always!
My husband and I are thrilled with this version! Azul: Duel keeps the aesthetic and satisfying tactile feel of the original, but adds more interaction and excitement. The gameplay is fast-paced and tense, with constant competition for the right tiles — a direct but elegant duel. It’s perfect for two-player evenings: beautiful, smart, and full of new tactical choices each time. It’s definitely a keeper in our collection. But still, Queen’s Garden remains our favorite.

Tough game to play
The rules and instructions for this game are very vague. The game itself arrived in perfect condition.
