Dont use aftermarket plugs
This after-market charger started arcing and fried my hard drive and I had to get a new computer.

Bargain priced and electrically identical to the OEM charging block for my laptop!
The charging block for my 5 1/2 year old laptop finally died. The wires failed at the strain relief and eventually separated so that it wouldn't provide any charge at all. This intermittent charging had a negative effect on my already weak 5 1/2 year old laptop battery as well.So I replaced them both and performance is back to "like new". An OEM internal battery replacement at an "authorized repair center" was gonna cost $250. A new OEM charging block was gonna be $50. That's $300 to do maintenance on a 5 1/2 year old laptop. Uh.....NO.For $45 I got a new battery with the same electrical specs as the OEM battery. For another $20 I bought this charging block with electrical specs that exactly matched my OEM charging block. Instead of $300, I spent $65 and 15 minutes of my time and saved myself $235 or the cost of buying a new laptop.The charger works flawlessly. My 5 1/2year old laptop is working like it did when it was new.Highly recommended!
