Nice color and weight. I love the knurled texture where my fingers sit, in keeping my hand from slipping when writing. It is worth every $$ I spend on it. I plan on switching out the refill with the Space Pen refill or the Schmidt refill, once the refill that came with the pen is used up.

Like other rotring products this is nicely designed. The color chocolate is a warm maroon.

If you know you know, if you don’t you don’t.I’ve been buying these for about 30 years now. They have a heft that says, “I’m about to do some serious writing. Avert your eyes least ye be blinded.” You can easily imagine how Rotring pens are, truly, mightier than the sword. Their pencils are my favorites though. They have a very nice tactile feel and heft. The only thing they fail on are the erasers. Rotring know this, we know this. The eraser is a bit like … jumping out of a plane with an umbrella instead of a parachute — you think it’s better than nothing, but you know if you use it’s still going to end messy.Good news is you can buy erasers that do a better job than anything attached to the back of any mechanical pencil. It seems a poor compromise to make, but if Rotring were to ever master a built in erasure, well, it would be a little bit too much perfection for this world. We hardly deserve these pencils as they are. Let’s not tempt fate.Sadly, I keep losing my Rotring products. Or, my coworkers love them. Either way, Rotring keeps making more and I can personally attest to their continued quality over the years.

A beautiful color. I just switch out the ink cartilage because I'm not a fan of ballpoint, but the overall quality of the pen is 5 stars.

Długopis ładnie wygląda na zdjęciu i to tyle. W rzeczywistości jest taki sobie. Jest cienki (na zdjęciu tego nie widać) a co za tym idzie średnio wygodny do trzymania. Podczas pisania jest - dla mnie - koszmarny dziwek stukania wkładu o obudowę. Niestety zwracam.

When people talk about German engineering - this pen is what people are talking about. Solid, well built, heavy, stylish but understated. It is a beauty to hold and writes like a absolute dream.After showing it to a friend he went straight online and brought one, I have now also brought the 3 in 1 and a mechanical pencil. I also know engineers who only use this brand for pens and pencils. It seems pricey for a item we are so used to buying cheap and throwing away - but this is a investment into quality. Buy one and thank me later.

Had higher expectations.The cartridge jiggles a bit, and I do not like the scratching sound of the top button.
