Amazing Product
This pot is amazing! I would use this to cook everytime I go camping. Its very easy to wash. And the coolest thing about it is, you can use it as a skillet to cook. And it is easy to put it in your backpack than using a regular pot that is so bulky.

Probably a mistake
After purchase, reviews started showing up that unit was of poor quality and the aluminum bottom would burn up. Wanted it as an emergency unit, but now feel I cannot trust it to work as needed.

First test failed
I bought two of these hoping to use it for emergency situations. I went to test one this morning.. filled with water only about an inch under the snaps. Then put it on the stove and kept the stove at about 1/2 power.. after several minutes the water started to bubble up some, but then I noticed as well the bottom plate was warping. I shut off the stove and picked up the pot, just as it began to melt away. Fortunately I was testing on a metal picnic table, so the melted pieces fell on that. I don't know what temperature my stove gets to at 1/2 power, but apparently it's too much to boil water in this pot. Maybe if the metal used on the bottom were better quality it would not have been an issue. I understand there is a balance of the metal and siding melting points, but the very seemingly cheap metal base was an observation from the beginning. I will be returning my second stove and do not suggest getting these for any sort of emergency situation as you may not know what kind of fire you will be around to use to cook.

A functional folding pot
Sturdy construction and lightweight. I have never seen a folding pot design like this but it is quite functional. Just heed the other reviews and wrap the base in tinfoil if you have to use it over open flames. I found this worked best shoveling coals out of my fire into a shallow pit with a cooking tripod over it. Plenty of heat for your pot without the damaging flames.

Excellent customer service
The product came in broken. I sent them an e-mail and they sent me a new one. They contacted me very quickly, have excellent customer service, and a great product. Definitely worth a buy if your looking for a portable pot that breaks down very small.

Great for backpacking
This product is easy to use and easy to clean. It has a good capacity for one person, or two light eaters and heats quickly over a gas flame. It folds flat and takes up little room in a backpack, and is very lightweight.

Heavier than anticipated, otherwise appears as advertised
Have never used it due to it being much heavier than I anticipated. There is a heavy metal plate on the bottom that I didn't notice in any of the advertising. Would work well for car camping, but it isn't coming on any backpacking trips in my near future.

Perfect for what I needed!
I bought this little guy to climb Mt. Adams a few weeks ago. It was great! I needed it solely for melting snow for water and then boiling water to make my food for the trip. The only not great thing was a I would lose a little water when pouring it out but even that wasn't a big deal at all. I will most likely purchase another small on and a larger one to use on other backpacking trips. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to explore the diversity of its uses but I am eager to.
