Slippery and dangerous, holds dirt and mildew
I wasted an entire weekend prepping my boat for this. When I was done it looked great. The following weekend I took the boat out and the product was extremely slippery when wet. It is very dangerous and I would never use the stuff again. So A few weeks went by and I went to use my boat again and the entire deck was covered with dirt from mowing the lawn, wind, etc. or whatever it was I went to wash it off and it would not come out whether it's mildew or dirt it is in bedded into their product. Now I have wasted an entire weekend to make my boat look good, and now I have to sand it all down to redo it and something else. I have never had this problem with the original coating and I'm not sure why their product will hold dirt like it does but I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere! I even contacted their customer service and they told me there was nothing wrong with their product and that my boat was dirty. I would like for them to send one of their guys out to wash my boat so they can see how difficult it is to keep clean now.I even contacted their customer service and they told me there was nothing wrong with their product and that my boat was dirty.

Don’t use this product
Regret using this product everyday on my boat. Did all the proper prep work before painting on bare fiberglass surface. No matter how thin an application you put on this product does not dry properly and although months have gone by since I used this on our interior boat cabin floors, anything placed on the painted surface leaves an imprint as well as smudges everywhere. Bought the grey color which turned out to be a very light blue not grey at all and does not match the color on the container by far. Starting to believe this was a really bad batch of paint I got and am now stuck with all these issues. Very upset about this.

A good strategy would be to roll out an area
I just finished using this paint to do the inside of a 14' aluminum skiff. Because I used this on aluminum, I had to prep by using a self-etching primer. Using the advice from other customer reviews, I used a little bit of paint tint to darken the gray color slightly. The paint came out darker, yet still had the bluish tint mentioned by other reviews. As said by others', it's crucial to mix this paint thoroughly, otherwise the micro-beads will not be consistent. I applied two coats of paint by use of a roller, which came out very smooth and consistent. I was surprised by how thin the paint rolls out for having "grit" in it. A good strategy would be to roll out an area, and go back over it a few minutes later without adding more paint on the roller. I found that this makes the paint more consistent, and distributes the micro-beads a little better. The initial coat did not adhere well in areas where I had applied caulk, but seemed to be fine after applying the second coat. The cure time may be a few days, but each layer was dry to the touch within an hour of application (in about 65 degree weather, in a paint tent). I was pleasantly surprised by the finished appearance. While it didn't completely hide small cracks and imperfections, I am confident that it will grip and hold up well. The only reason I did not rate this paint higher was because it is advertised as a true gray, when in fact it is not; and because it requires some serious mixing for proper application. When you think you have mixed it enough - mix it some more. I would definitely use this product again.

anti slip floor coating
I wanted a nonslip surface for the floor and ramp on my new cargo trailer. After searching for anti skid coatings, I came across this. It had small plastic beads instead of sand mixed in the paint. It sounded better than sand to me. It applied very smooth and easy. It is very durable. Sliding things on the floor doesn't phase it. The plastic beads are so small, you can't really see them in the paint, but they really work. No problems slipping at all when going in the trailer with wet shoes. Floor can easily be swept off, unlike sand impregnated coatings. I believe I found the best product available.

I also tinted mine prior to applying it - very easy to do and seems to work well
I would probably give this product a 5 star rating if I knew anything about it's durability. I may come back to edit this in the future. (Done now)Painted a portion of my boat deck with this. Application was much easier than last time when I did it with another product. I also tinted mine prior to applying it - very easy to do and seems to work well. The non-skid is is "grippier" than the rest of my deck that has been worn down by time, so that's a plus. I used a foam roller and it's like painting with any other paint. Applied 2 coats and it looks really professional. One quart goes a long way (The label says 250-300 sq/ft for 1 coat --> sounds about right).Overall this is a great product, easy to use, looks good, and if it holds up over time, well then it's a 5 star product.

Nice thick nonskid paint goes on easy and looks awesome, add soft sand if you want super aggressive nonskid
I put a bunch of "soft sand" i mine as well as some "so-strong" pigment. Because of the soft sand I had to roll it on pretty thick. Give it two or three days before walking on it if you make it so thick. Peel masking tape while the paint is still wet (immediately after you finish rolling the paint on). Results are great! Adding the soft sand makes a very aggressive non-skid which is what I wanted. The sand in this paint is much finer, and makes a smoother finish while still being a good non-skid even without the soft sand, but I wanted the coarsest non-skid possible. After waiting a week, go for a second coat if you want the sand spread more evenly.
