Era 825 Transom Window Lock White

i can see how it COULD work - but the crittal windows in my rented hovel don't seem to play the same game. i filed off the top of the "peg" but the reach of this item not enough even so to reach the transom (so i can't lock the bloody thing closed). arghhhh

We love our old Crittal windows but were concerned about security and though we had a couple of handle locks we didn't have any transom locks. These are perfect and can't be easily undone by hand without the key so even with a hole cut in the glass a burglar would have trouble opening them. Very easy to fit, though they don't align with the holes in the opening bar - the pin locks down onto the metal, scraping the paint but that's a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Practical and very easy to fix and reasonable price

Utilitarian product. Do the required job.
