Works well - difficult to install unless you use silicone spray
This appeared to be larger than the original gasket. After soaking it in hot water I struggled with to get it in the track for about a half hour, then sprayed the track with silicone and it went right in. Stopped the leak. Good product, good value for the price. USE SILICONE TO INSTALL!!! - Should be in the instructions!

Did Not Work
This gasket was difficult to install and did not allow door to close. Original equipment gasket, although significantly more expensive, is much softer, easier to install, and worked perfectly.

Easy to replace
Easy to install, required trimming off excess when completely installed.

Solved the leak!
I ordered this part to fit our Whirlpool dishwasher model# 7WDT950SAYM0. The part was identical in shape to the OEM gasket that we replaced. However, I noticed the rubber material was not as pliable as the OEM part we were replacing, and the part of the gasket that fits into the groove around the opening of the dishwasher, is a little bit larger than the OEM version. As such, it took a lot of effort to work that end of the gasket into the groove to make sure it seated properly. It's doable, but your thumbs will definitely get a workout from this. We found it helpful to first get the gasket lined up and partially in the groove, and then used the handle of a wooden spoon to coax the rest of the rubber into the groove, to ensure a good fit. The top and sides were great, the corners took a lot of work and still were not perfect, but were good enough to stop the leak. As others have noted here in the comments, make sure you check the orientation of the existing gasket as you remove it from the groove in the dishwasher, to make sure you insert the correct end of the replacement gasket, and start at the top middle of the dishwasher and work your way around the top and down the sides from there. There are many good YouTube videos out there. In the end, it solved the leak, and definitely glad I did this myself to save some $$ from the repair person. Next time I will think about getting an OEM part to ensure an exact fit.

Well made - gets the job done - no leaks
Fit perfectly within my Kitchenaid dishwasher. Note direction when taking out previous seal and/or do a search for an online video to make sure you install properly. Will be hard to shut the door until it latches while it gets broken in, but great seal and great value.

Wanted it to work, just didn't ...
I really wanted this gasket/seal to work, but it just didn't fit right for our Whirlpool WDF760SADB Dishwasher. This door seal's profile was similar to OEM part (see review pics; LEFT = THIS SEAL, while RIGHT = New OEM seal). However, the rubber was much stiffer and, when installed, prevented the dishwasher door latch mechanism from keeping the door shut. This observation was made by other reviewers as well. The best way to describe the rubber stiffness difference is that this seal's stiffness was like that of a car wiper blade; while the OEM seal was much more compressible and similar to a car door's rubber seal. Tried closing the door and leaving overnight with a weighted chair holding it shut, but alas, the next day the lack of compression for this door seal still prevented the door from remaining shut. Other reviewer(s) tried softening seal with a heat gun, then closing door to 'form' the seal to door, but again, no success. I was forced to return this seal for a refund (which the seller granted). Had to order an OEM replacement at 2.5X the price from an online appliance parts vendor because it wasn't available on Amazon.PROSEasy installation; plenty of length (85") ... only needed 75", so cut to lengthProfile (shape) very similar to OEM partCONSStiffer rubber than OEM seal, which resulted in an inability for the door latch to hold door closed.PS - Before you order a replacement seal, you should try removing the old OEM seal from around the door and soaking overnight in vinegar (to dissolve hard-water mineral deposits). Reinstallation might eliminate leaking ... it did for me, even though I had already placed an order

fits well
did not figure out how to install at first, but once i got the correct way of installation, it worked perfectly. you don't need any pointy tools. I put a little bit of olive oil on it, then just hand pressed it into the slot on the dishwasher frame. when the strip fits into the slot, you can feel (or sort of hear) a "pop" and you know it's correctly installed. If you don't feel the "pop" sound, it's probably not fitted in the slot yet.

Circus
I bought this because I had a leaky seal. The vendor states that it's made to exactly fit many models. The problem is as other have stated that the material is not as soft and pliable as the genuine part so it does not conform to the door properly. After installing this, I could not run a complete cycle. I completely removed and reinstalled it with no change. I thought maybe my latch was bad (I had had a few issue with that), but after replacing the latch I still had problems. Water was collecting at the top of the door. As another poster did, I gave my old seal a good soak in vinegar and cleaned it up and reinstalled it. No more problems. I feel that the old seal should still be replaced, but I am ordering a genuine Whirlpool part this time.
