Slightly too narrow
I am a woman and I wear an 8.5 in US women's shoe size. I bought an 8.5 and they fit great in length, but not so much in width; I have narrow feet so that surprised me. They aren't so narrow that I can't still wear them, but they do squeeze and rub on the outside of my big toe and pinky toe so I can't wear them for extended times or a lot of walking. Otherwise they are cute shoes, I like them.

Perfect for craft projects!
I purchased these by a suggested craft blog called Keeper of the Cheerios. She painted them to be a pencil. I purchased a 7.5. They fit well, not snug at all. I probably could get away with a 7. The canvas is so smooth for painting.

Worked well for a costume but wouldn't want to wear these daily
I needed white shoes to complete a costume and these worked well Overall I found the shoes uncomfortable. Yes, I could spend more time breaking them in and perhaps they'd improve, but the canvas and construction felt cheap and not durable and after wearing them for a day I doubt I'll wear them again. They just didn't fit well in a way I can't really describe. They were too narrow while also feeling too big. My feet aren't oddly shaped, but these shoes are.

Small - VERY small
These are nicely made. But these are crazy narrow. I like them and thought about just wearing them in homes they would stretch out but didn't dare. Felt like me feet were in a vise. I would say order large BUT these are long enough. Just too narrow for an average human foot. (I have never bought wide shoes) These only come in one width. pencil thin.

good size, good design.
I love the shoes for price. Just be careful with how easy the color is to stain. Buy a brush or throw them into the washer every now and then to keep them clean if they get stained. I wore them for a day a week ago and the metal rings through which the show laces go through, exerted a bit too much pressure on my feet to the point that I got tender/blistery on the upper side of my foot, but this was a day of lots and lots of walking, which I think occurs with most shoes unless they are sneakers for running or more specialized.

Excellent value
For the cost, one might assume that this shoe is of poor quality and will not last. I bought this years ago and it is still in excellent condition (with minimal upkeep). As long as you have obtained the right size, this shoe should be of excellent value for your money. I definitely recommend this. (Note: If you do not get the right size, the back of the shoe may rub uncomfortably against the heel. Make sure to get the correct size.)

Good buy...
For the money, you can’t go wrong! However, you will need to purchase inserts (like dr scholls), as there is no support at all. It would feel like walking on pavement with socks on. The heal area slips a bit too as you walk, but the rest of the shoe fits fine. So didn’t think a smaller size would be wise.I had also purchased a pair of expensive Keds and the fit and comfort were awful. So these lesser expensive shoes were a definite good buy.

Too expensive for the quality of build.
Shoe is descent... When it was only 30. Now it seems to be 43. Not worth that. Thus 2 stars. Would be a 4 if the price closer reflected the quality. You can get a pair of addidas for 40 and they're built better.Shape and overall fit was nice, but the sole wears VERY quickly. Couple of months of walking did it for me.Wont be buying these again unless they drop back to 30 but seems unlikely.
