Stopped Working after 6 months!
The computer stopped functioning properly after only six months of use. Under normal circumstances, this would have been covered under the one-year manufacturer’s warranty; however, when we contacted HP for support using the serial number, we discovered the manufacturer’s warranty had already expired. We also found evidence that the product number had been tampered with. Another major concern, separate from the performance issues but reflective of the seller’s lack of transparency, is that the computer was advertised as including Windows Pro. However, it appears either a previously used retail product key was installed, or no genuine OEM license was ever properly injected into the system. When we contacted the seller about this issue, they did not address the concern regarding the reused key and instead repeatedly sent “new” activation keys, all of which returned messages stating they were already in use.
