I start my day off with a cup or two of this tea. I've recently been having stomach issues so I have to be careful about having coffee or regular tea in the morning. I find this licorice root tea really hits the spot. I will sometimes add a little honey and cream with it but not always. I love it! For me, it's the perfect brew. I just add some hot water, steep it for 10 minutes, take a teaspoon and squeeze out the remaining flavor from the bag and stir it. I am grateful that Amazon carries this brand because it's my favorite and it's hard to find in my area locally.

Nice hint of "licorice" flavor! Not overwhelming at all. Soothing.... Not very sweet at all - just enough to make it a pleasant night time hot cup in the night.... Would buy again!

I drink this tea to prevent acid reflux and settle my stomach. It does seem to help and might lower my sugar cravings as well because it is sweet. Not everybody might like the flavor but I think it’s OK.I like this tea because it isn’t spicy. There is an Egyptian spicy licorice tea out there that I haven’t tried yet.I’m disappointed that a third, cheaper kind I used to buy isn’t available in stores anymore (including Whole Foods). At least it’s organic. Please stay on the market.

Good quality tea, large bags. Makes a good cup! Sweeter than I had anticipated as I'm not a normal tea drinker, that surprised me...bought it to help with acid reflux, and it does help.

This item arrived on time as promised. I have tried many licorice tea brands, as it is the only flavor of tea I drink on a regular basis. This licorice tea has a great flavor. I will buy this again.

I love buying different kinds of tea and experimenting to find the kind I like most. I was drawn in by the name, since I had never even heard of licorice root tea before. Once the tea arrived I made myself a cup, following the instructions closely. I was told to steep 8oz for 15 minutes, which seemed long to me, but I went with it... it was vile, overpoweringly strong, and with an unpleasant aftertaste. It was strong enough that it almost felt like the tea had been made with something other than water. I'm giving the tea a three star rating because it seems unfair to give it one star because I personally didn't like the taste, especially since it's the first licorice root tea I've tried so I have nothing to compare it to. I guess there must be someone out there who likes it - but my word, this was simply not pleasant.I tried making another cup, larger this time (for dilution purposes, and because I like big glasses of tea), and planned to remove the bag at regular intervals until I found the proper time to steep it. I removed the bag after 5 seconds out of curiosity, and the tea was ALREADY unpleasantly strong. It's a bit hilarious actually. I'm planning on giving my 22 remaining bags to friends and having them finish a big mug as a dare. I might make T-Shirts to congratulate them if any of them manage to finish the cup. It'll be fun.My advice to you is to be very careful if you've never tried licorice root tea before. If you must try it, use a lot of water and steep it for way less than 15 minutes. This stuff is absurd.

KI bought this the first time because I read that licorice root was helpful for digestive issues. I didn’t expect to love the taste so much and it helps my stomach feel better. This time I bought 2 boxes.
