very excellent VCR
my father was writing a lot of the earlier critiques, since I was ill and in quarantine, and also unable to really do much online work of any kind. I understand there was a length of time for the item to arrive but I was sick myself, so no harm done. I couldn't do much....not sure what he wrote in the earlier posts, but while I am up and around, and slowly put the VCR together, ripping out the old RCA that recorded but had no sound. The new VCR is excellent. I was grateful to see it, and a little sad that I allowed my father to keep tabs on things and I assume use some harsh words.I would recommend using this supplier again and again. This is a superior VCR. if there are TVS VCRs, anything else too, I would buy from this supplier again and again.Chris

Keep Your Old Memories Alive
I was being very ambitious to convert my old family VHS tapes to MP4 format. If you do not know already, VHS tapes will degrade over time. I did not want to lose all these previous memories; I had all the equipment and connections to my home computer to make this happen. My VHS machine was unused for over 10 years, powered up, all good, loaded the first tape, pressed “play”, then a big nothing. Tried to eject, tape was stuck and the machine died, no power. I had to open the VHS machine and carefully remove the stuck tape. I am now left with a big decision, send all then tapes out to a service or purchase a used VHS tape player, (they are no longer made, so you can’t buy new). After counting my tapes, some of which were unlabeled and could be blank or have some obscure TV show on them. It was cheaper for me to purchase a used machine. I looked at a number of offerings on Amazon and settled on this model. I did not need any special features, this Panasonic VHS fit the bill.I was very pleased with the effort the seller made in shipping the unit, very well packaged in bubble wrap. The remote was included. Also packed new RCA AV cables which was a surprise. Unit was fully functional as advertised, including the remote. Tracking was terrific, VHS tapes played clearly without any issue. I will admit I “sprung” for a VHS head cleaner, very inexpensive, also available on Amazon. My project went well and to close the loop some of the unmarked tapes were indeed old TV shows. So, for me this was a wise investment over sending to a service. If you are stuck looking for a VCR, I recommend this seller as reliable. Happy with my project and can proudly say mission accomplished.

Not delivered as advertised. No remote.
Item looked in good shape. It did turn on and accept a VHS tape. There was no remote shipped with the VHS player as advertised. Then they had the nerve to charge a $50.00 restocking charge. I would not recommend Remix LLC. False description and high restocking charge.

60% restocking fee for defective non-working VCR
The media could not be loaded. Item was well packaged and quickly shipped, but didn't work. Video cassette seemed to be spinning, but didn't display images Unfortunately I didn't try it out until some 30 days after receipt, so Amazon wouldn't cover it under their A to Z Guarantee. To their credit, the vendor did pay for return postage, but charged a $60 "restocking" fee. On a $100 purchase. Strikes me as excessive bordering on abusive, especially since the item was non-working. Would have purchased another one from them if they stood behind their products. Instead feel should warn folks away from them.
