Works. All parts are from china including oem. No point by briggs coil for 50$ if this works for 13$.Fyi. New harbor freight predator vertical shaft replacement motor new for 149.99. Replaces all briggs, honda, Kohler , etc.So depending on your motor condition; something to think about.So b4 you tune with new carb, coil, filter, auto choke, or cables.

I used as a replacement coil on a Craftsman 6.5hp lawnmower. This coil make it start easy and run like new. The only reason I gave it 4 stars the mounting holes did not line up. I read the reviews and saw other customers had the same problem. I think it’s just because three are so many variations of motors. It’s not a big deal. I just had to drill one new hole. I placed screw in the one hole that aligned properly and marked the other hole on the coil.

Did not fit mine and I never return it because I don’t have no time was wrong with the holes
