Pi (Sprinkler Board for Raspberry Pi; 24VAC Power Adapter Included)

Excellent kit for turning the Raspberry Pi into an 8+ zone sprinkler controller (AC valves only). Very nice kit includes enclosure and wiring terminals. Easy to assemble, program, wire, and deploy for those familiar with Raspberry Pi. Note, this is an 8 zone controller (expandable to like 56 zones) but you give up one zone if you have a master zone/valve that needs controlled. This caused me some issues, as I have 8 controlled zones plus a master valve, and didn't want to buy a zone controller for just one master zone. I'm going to try and dream up a way to easily power the master zone without taking up a zone.

The item works well. The software is easy to use. Watering level is what most irrigation people call global (adjust) but this item has been running my sprinklers for over a month. I used the power supply that was on the other timer. I like the control I got. By the way, I have been using Amazon for many years and this is the first review I have ever written so that should tell you what I really think. See a dry spot? Pull out the phone and connect and hit it for 5 minutes. The support always responds with an email fairly quick as well.Thanks Ray's Hobby!

The product arrived well packed, easy to assemble, just programmed a microSD card with the latest version and walla, its works like a charm
