Pro Tools 2900 Stand Hood Dryer 2000 Watts (Model: ED2900)

I purchased this hair dryer because going to the salon every week is expensive.Also, because the Dominicans burn my hair too much.I would like to style my own hair, and not put that much heat on it.Now finally get to do that, so with that being said, this is an awesome purchase.I can do my hair at my leisure. It is very quiet.It takes about 5 mins to heat up, and it is salon quality.I had a very easy assembly. You will love it!

It heats up real good except I feel like the fan isn't fast enough which is pointless that it heats up so well.

Poorly made. The post that holds the unit is flimsy. The whole thing seems cheaply made. Lastly, the one u received was USED and DAMAGED, and the seller was a royal pain in getting my money back. Ultimately, I had to file a claim with Amazon to get a refund. Not only would I not buy this product again; the seller is on my banned list.

I recently purchased the PEBCO Pro Tools 2900 Stand Hood Dryer 2000. All the reviews were correct in that this is a very professional dryer, it heats up and dries my hair quickly. However there are some draw backs. The stand is very cheap and light, and you will have to be careful that the dryer does not tip over as it is very heavy and cumbersome. I tried using the biggest rollers I could find (they were huge!!) and I could not fit my head under the dryer with them on. But when using standard large rollers it is fine. It was a good purchase, may try to purchase a sturdier stand before I lose my investment.

The only reason I give this dryer 2 stars is because the dryer truly gets hot and it's quiet like other reviewers mention, that's why I went with this dryer compared to others. However, I had the dryers for a good two months and the visor broke in a manor where it could not be fixed. I had to spend more money to send it back, because the seller does not cover the cost to return even though the item was defected. The sellers sent me a replacement the end of January, and here we are in the middle of February and visor cracked again. I'm so frustrated because I own a high traffic salon and there is a lot of wear an tear on these dryers, but I had many dryers and they at least gave me 2 years or more. This is nerve racking having to be without an extra dryer and then taking time out my busy schedule to take a defected dryer to the post office myself and take another lost because I have to pay a return fee. I would never purchase another item from this seller.

its really hot i felt like i was at the salon instead right in my own home dries the hair from root to tip. It doesnt feel or look like a cheap product its actually a steal rolls easy adjust up or down easy it even has a built in ticking timer when your done gets really hot too. Get it girls

There is nothing that I do not like about this hair dryer! The heat settings can get very hot so just be careful with that. I bought this dryer because I wanted to start rolling and drying my own hair at home instead of dropping $45-$50 a month at the salon. Each time I come out of the dryer with my rollers in I am left with very smooth curls- something I only thought could be achieved at the salon!How wrong was I when I got the same salon quality results right from my own home!It's nice to put your feet up,use your laptop or watch a movie and mostly anything else you want in the privacy of your home. I use this dryer ever Thursday and I've had it for a few months now and so far not one complaint. It swivels and tilts which is a great plus! You'll not be dissapointed with this product I can assure you!

This is the best portable hair dryer I've ever owned. My drying time is cut from 45 minutes to 25 minutes. It is more expensive than some other hair dryers, but worth the extra price. My only gripe is the shipping packaging should have been sturdier. My boxes arrived with several holes. Fortunately, the hair dryer was not damaged.
