This cooler is very good, thick inner lining keeps fish from puncturing the walls

I have a Revolution 13 and I had originally intended to try and place this IN the front hatch. It doesn't fit primarily because of the rigid structure this cooler has on the back side. Which is a good thing. I ended up placing this in my back well area behind my seat and it's fits great there. I actually have it inside a large Mako brand mesh bag. With the bag, I can not only fit the cooler, but my giant free dive fins and most of my dive gear. I can strap everything down. It was kind of a good thing it didn't fit in the front hatch since 1) the cooler does leak water after the ice melts, 2) it took away space from other important things that needed to be kept dry.Update 2/12/2021The fabric ends of the zipper has split. Meaning, if you unzip both sides all the way, the part keeping the two zipper sides together has split apart. This causes the zipper to to fall out of the track which is not something you want to be dealing with in a kayak on the water.I did fix this by sewing it back together.

Digging in this very functional Catch Cooler. It fits all my Wildy kayaks as well as other brands. Fits the bow and tank well. Plenty of room for limits of the species I fish for. A separate compartment for drinks and even a mesh pouch to add small items. The only thing that bugs me(and this is my OCD talking) is that when it is worn like a backpack the Wildy logo is upside down.Zach Clift

Good design/quality

Product leaked water after only one trip. There are no scratches or punctures what so ever, so it must have a deffect from the factory.

Great cooler

I use the Insulated Catch Cooler while I spearfish from my kayak in the New England area. This cooler works great. It's design allows it to be bungied to the front or set into the rear well for easy access. I toss 2 bags of ice in there in the am on my way out and as I fill the soft cooler up with fish, the ice and soft cooler keep the fish colder than any other method I've found from the kayak. I mostly fish for Striped Bass, Black Sea Bass, Bluefish, Summer Flounder, Winter Flounder, Tautog, Scup, False Albacore, Bonito, Grey Triggerfish, and other local species. Outside of a large Striped Bass or Bluefish, they all fit into the cooler well. I make sure to bleed certain fish to retain the meat quality, so I highly recommend you allow the fish to bleed in the water before for a few minutes before placing into the cooler bag.This bag has held up well on the zippers after a summer of use, the fish spines haven't really punctured the soft cooler liner (huge plus in my usage), and they're effective keeping ice in direct sun for a full day of fishing. If you are looking for a replacement for your gel-injected rotomolded hard coolers, than this probably won't impress you too much comparatively. However, if you're looking for the most effective cooler to use from your kayak, than this is your cooler.
