Package was open
I am really from the performance of this product. However when I get the package it was already opened and it looks like they put another power cable by taking the original. Because it looks like it was used. If you pay this much money you expect it tone brand new and open it first eithout someone touching it.

I owned 3 of these. 2 of them failed.
I bought 2 of these PSUs, 1 during late 2015 or early 2016 and the other one early 2018 (sold the first PC and built a new one).I haven't had any issues with the first unit, which is why I bought the second one without hesitation. Second one worked fine for about 4-5 months and then my PC started shutting down when under load with increasing frequency. When I finally figured out it was PSU causing (about a year after the purchase, so early 2019) I reached out to Corsair support. They confirmed a replacement, but told me AX860i were out of stock and offered me 2 different units, which were of similar value on their website but 35-30% cheaper on all real stores. Naturally, I refused and said I would wait for AX860i. They ended up saying that AX860i units will be out of stock for a while (there was no restock scheduled) and offered me a refurbished one.I accepted and was quite happy with the refurbished unit..... for whole 3-4 months, when my PC randomly shut down. When I tried to power it on it would shut down within half a second or so... I contacted Corsair support again, requesting a replacement or a full refund (emphasis on refund).I am not sure if I'm just THAT unlucky, but 66% fail rate within half of a year of use seems unacceptable for one of the one of the most expensive PSUs in the 850w category (only titanium efficiency PSUs outweigh the price...).In case somebody is wondering, the only way to prove without a doubt that PSU is the reason for crashes is by switching it out for another PSU, which is what I had to do, when crashes became too frequent to just brush off.Anyways, to summarize, until my problems with this PSU started I rated it 4/5 (with price being the only drawback). My experience with 2 failing units dropped my rating significantly because of time and cash costs associated with troubleshooting and replacement. I also didn't like the process of replacement:1. support offered inferior (at least from my point of view) products as a replacement.2. It is odd such a massive company would not have a new unit to send as a replacement (or offer to upgrade to higher wattage model, if 860 ones were out of stock...)3. replacement came in debranded package without a cable bag (while their return instructions specifically say to return all accessories included with the product).
