Low quality and delicate, but functional

Bought this stuff to put up around my sun canopy as mosquito netting. The product is not really intended for this I don't think, but in the end I made it work. A few things you might want to know about it:Pros:It does actually function as mosquito nettingInexpensiveCons:Very delicate. I had to be very careful not to snag it on anything as I moved it around, because it was really easy to damage the weave.Hard to work with. I was working with a 8'x50' sheet of the stuff, and I have to say, it was not an easy task. It's lightweight, so the wind blew it around a lot, and it snags on EVERYTHING. Plus it's so easy to damage, I had to wear kid gloves the entire time to keep from putting holes in it. If you're going to get a lot of it, I suggest having a partner around to help you, especially if you care about what the finished product looks like.Edges fray like crazy. The edges are not finished in any way. The weave is very basic and it will unravel easily at the edges.Doesn't look great. The appearance of this stuff is pretty cheap. I managed to damage it while putting it up so that didn't help, but even if I hadn't it would still look super flimsy. I don't expect it to last. Conclusion:In the end, my purposes were served by this material, but it was probably not worth the $20 I saved by getting it instead of something a bit nicer. If I were going to do it all again, I'd buy some higher quality material that has finished edges, a stronger weave, and a bit more weight to it. I think it would work great for plant netting (as it's being advertised), but in any situation where the finished product needs to look halfway decent for a long time, I would look elsewhere.

Unconventional Use!

So I got this for a totally out there and unconventional use. Got a dog that sheds what seems like more hair than he has on a daily basis. Started worrying about it having a negative effect on my PC, even though every time I've cleaned it, didn't seem nearly as bad as I thought it would. But still...I got this to drape over the table that my PC is under on it's shelf to help protect from all this hair. PC still getting all the air it needs in/out and my PC is staying hair free! I intend to use the rest around misc. things as well to try to help control where his hair goes and doesn't go.Only thing I don't really like is cutting it and the edges that were cut seems to kinda have an undesirable look. But I mean, it isn't a deal breaker or anything, just something I felt noteworthy of mentioning and totally just my personal opinion.I know it may not be a perfect review for the intended use of the product, but it's working for what I intended it to do! :)

Lightweight and durable

We used this as a flow through bird poop catcher under an apartment carport. Using it doubled up it has done a fantastic job so far. About a month in and have had several high wind experiences with no issues. We did use gorilla tape around the cut edges to keep them from coming apart as well as making a backer for staples to hold better. Not it's intended use but it works well for it.

Very versatile.

Use this on my peppers so the flies don't get them. I also used it on my deck around my umbrella. It's really light weight. Works great. Hooked it on with clothes pins. Last, I used it on my bunny hutches to keep mosquitoes and flies out.

Slippery and lightweight netting fabric

Good stuff. I haven't used it yet but and happy with what I received for the price. I ended up buying a different loosely woven fabric for my screening project because I thought this Mosquito Bug fabric would ravel once I cut it and I wanted to sew the edges also. A serger would probably be a good machine to use to finish the edges or a bias tape type product. Fray Check would also be a good idea to try if you are concerned about the edges raveling. I was hoping the weave of this screening would be more "delicate"/smaller so fruit flies couldn't get through it but I didn't want to take the chance so that's why I purchased a different lightweight, tightly woven material to make the zippered lid to my new Worm Inn composting bin. I think this netting will be great as a draping material on my plants outdoors.

Mosquito free zone!

Would buy this over and over again. First year we have been able to sit out in the patio without pesky mosquitoes biting us alive! Has survived 4 severe storms without a tear! It also helps block some of the rain out as well.

Good for the garden

This is great in my garden to protect plants from flying pests like cabbage moths as an alternative to pesticides. Held up really well in the wind once I figured out how to secure it to my frame. Other products have torn easily, but not this stuff. I will be ordering more of this in the future for both the garden and as a mosquito netting

This is the best insect control for the garden

Keeps cabbage moths and leaf miners out, lets water through the netting, you can see inside unlike row cover.Cover carrots right after seeding until harvest to keep click Beatles out, and no wire worms to eat them. Very very happy with this years harvest.
