Jet engines
Fantastic fans, very sturdy and well built, high quality and definitely fit for purpose, however I made the mistake of assuming industrial meant "hard wearing" and not "hard working" and thus had to send them back.Even on setting 1 they sound like a jet engine, and push out an insane amount of air - the blinds in my work room are metal, and I had them closed at the time, and the fan - which was in the middle of the room and pointing in their direction - buckled them inwards completely. Gnarly stuff!I didn't dare put it on speed setting 2 or even 3(!) because setting 1 was incredibly loud and powerful. Reminiscent of your neighbour strimming his garden or revving a motorbike, kind of noise level. Basic fans are already loud enough to make you turn up the volume on stuff, these fans take the cake and then some. I imagine they'd keep the neighbours awake if used at night, a constant rushing drone.Very suitable for keeping you cool in the summer, but alas, probably best used (and designed for) in large warehouses for multiple people, or outside during conventions or events, or perhaps put inside large meeting rooms. Definitely not suitable for in-house use, I would say.Unless you're hard of hearing, anyway! And if you're not, you will be pretty soon after using these!

Ultimate Wind Machine!
An in-home wind machine complete with Hurricane setting!Excellent fan with very powerful production of wind. Very sturdy and robust with large base to keep from toppling.Great oscillation offering a wide angled rotation.Impressive fan head span. You won’t be disappointed by the output this fan gives, and one that is reliable enough to stand the test of time and last for many many years.Well worth the money although initial outlay is high - you won’t regret it.Yes it is noisy, requiring you to turn the TV up a lot, but you do not need it in the same room to feel the cooling effects of this fan. We have had ours blowing from the kitchen to the lounge to help combat the noise. No remote with this fan, but that doesn’t hinder the massive output and excellent experience this fan gives.

Can see why it says industrial now.
Actually blew the kitchen door closed. Don’t buy this if you just want a house fan or something for the bedroom. Sounds like a small plane engine.

Spectacular!
Fed up with feeble plastic desk fans, I decided to buy an "industrial" fan, to cope with the current heatwave. What a result, this thing is heavy duty, and blasts out so much air, even on the lowest setting, that it made life tolerable on a searingly hot day.I put it out on my outside terrace, and on full tilt it blasted out so much air that I thought I was about to take off!Noisy enough to drown out the sound of annoying neighbours, so ideal really.

Not for the office
Lovely fan but unfortunately I didn't read the reviews.Oh my goodness...you actually can't talk on the telephone when it's on or chat to colleagues, ridiculously load, best used in a garage/warehouse.Thinking, I will have to replace with air conditioning unit.
