This comforter is more lightweight, like a spring /summer comforter. It is warm but not suffocating and heavy.

Q: Is the comforter made out of cotton or Feathers like the inside of it?

Comforter Set Fabric Content: 100-percent brushed Microfiber. Medium warmth for year round. This is taken directly off the listing; top line info. There are no feathers in this comforter. It is the most wonderful comforter I've owned and I'm very happy with it. Hope this helps you. snorkie

No you can not this comforter does not open

Q: Is this suppose to fit like a bedspread & go to the floor as shown

I thought it would fit as shown but it did not. I'm currently looking for one that will cover properly. That said it does do what it claims. Light weight and adjust to your temperature. But will not buy again. Want full coverage like pic.
