I feel the need to stress this...this is definitely on the side of Children lamp. I bought it for myself (20 year old) because I’m obsessed with stars and the idea of them rocking me to sleep sounded wonderful. Well long story short I had star shapes and a moon in my room. I’d much rather have constalations in my room vs shapes. Plus you could only choose colors like red or green as a glow which made me feel like I was 5 again. Anyways, I gave it to my nieces and nephew and they absolutely adore it!! One of my nieces is Autistic and she was amazed by the lamb! It’s her favorite thing and even calms her down when she’s stressed! Besides it not being exactly what I wanted, it works really well! It does need to be plugged in, but you can set a timer, and different colors. If they had one with constalations and maybe an yellow hue color, I’d definitely buy from them again!

I wrote a review previously that it didn't work so well, you couldn't see the moon and stars just blurs and blobs of color on the wall.THEN I REALIZED YOU CAN TAKE THE TOP COVER THINGY OFF!I screwed up. It looks so much better now. I'm so happy with it and my kids love it. I'll eventually buy one for myself.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

To get it to work you have to plug it in, hit button d to turn on the timer (great feature), then you hit a for a single color, b for a multicolor, and c to make it spin. If you press a and b more than once it will give you more than one color choice. My cats went nuts when I turned it on and kept trying to chase the lights that made it near the wall near the floor. You can use it with or without the cover on. If the cover is off just don’t stare at the laser lights.

I bought this night lamp for my 8 year old son who was scared to sleep alone in his room but we have had it for a week now and he hasn’t showed any type of fear when it comes to going to bed alone now ! He loves the night lamp and it’s very easy for him to turn it on and set it up him self . The night lamp also has a function where you can decide how long it stays on and when the time runs out it turns off by its self . It has many different colors and it brightens up his room just the right amount. I would highly recommend this light ! 5 + stars !!!!

My son has come to depend on one of these lights on a nightly basis. It’s well worth the money if it provides you and them with a goods night rest!The overall look of the light is pleasant, although you do have to remove the top of it to get functionality to it. Even with this I didn’t really mind.....until my 2 year old got a hold of it. One small flick of the wrist and the slide covering the light was demolished. It was all dented and distorted. Granted I am sure this item was not made to withstand the destructive nature of a two year old, I did anticipate it would hold up better. So we ended up with about 2 days use.A few other features I think would have been useful is, a remote because pushing those little buttons just right in the correct sequence was a bit of a challenge. Also a music feature. A tiny bit of low ambience background noice makes a huge difference.Not the worst purchase I’ve ever made but certainly wouldn’t buy again.

We love it! We’ve used it nightly (all night) for a couple of weeks. After the first week it has developed a hum when rotating but it can not be heard over the white noise sounds playing in the baby’s room. The images are soft and dreamlike on the walls and ceiling. If you’re wanting something super crisp image wise, you will be disappointed with this. The color choices are fun and we’ve found the white is just a bit too bright so we leave that off. Love the option to set the timer to run all night. It’s bright enough to not need any other lighting on while changing diapers or feeding during the night but not so bright as to disrupt quality sleep. It does require two hands to turn on and set time as it’s easily pushed around a table top or dresser when using one hand. This hasn’t been a problem for us as we turn it on prior to bedtime routine and sometimes after she’s fallen asleep so that it’s on for middle of the night wake ups. I would buy it again.

Great concept, but very cheap. The covers do not stay on, constantly falling off. They just loosely sit on top of the light part without a way to lock it in place, so when i pick it up to move it, it falls apart. It did lock at first, but after a couple weeks, it broke. I am the only person who handles this lamp, because my son is a baby. After about a month of having it, the rotation stopped working. We love the lights and he likes looking at it when he's going to sleep, but it is physically a pain in the butt and I really did like the rotation feature before it broke. I am returning it and getting my money back.

Had an issue and customer service was quick and helpful to fix. The product is nice. My daughter loves picking a new color each night and waiting for the moon to come around in the ceiling. I think it helps her to wind down, the first few nights she wa so excited I had to turn it off but now we have t on all night. The timer has to be reset each night which is annoying because it takes awhile to go through all the numbers but it’s not a huge issue, just annoying. I would buy again.
