Schick Quattro Midnight Razor for Men, 1 Razor

I'm glad these are still available.Over the years and multiple other razors, I've learned that this is the best razor for my face.Somehow this thing almost never cuts me, despite the huge challenge it's up against.Not everyone's hair grows at the same rate, or even in the same direction. Plus, over time it changes.My personal opinion is that there is no one-size-fits-all for razors. You must get to know your own face and what it needs.For me, this is the best one.Some shaving thoughts that I'm sure you know, but here goes.1) Shave against the grain for the closest shave. But for slow growing hair this can give you ingrown hairs.2) Shave with the grain for some shadow or to prevent ingrown hairs.3) Shave across the grain for a compromise.4) The direction of hair may not be the same all over your face.5) Wash before and after. Nothing worse than a face infection to make new friends.6) Replace the blade at least weekly. Again, same reason.7) Moisturize the dry spots.Oh, and if you grow a beard, wash that too. Nothing more gross than beard dandruff on the dinner table.Happy shaving!

Sorry to say that this product did not perform up to standards.The "Midnight" razor has (according to Schick) been discontinued, and I can see the reason why.The "blade cartridge release" button is so large, that there is no effective way to hold the razor without your fingers (at least one) touching it. So, when shaving, the blade cartridge randomly pops off and drops to the shower floor.Being less than fully abled, I am not able to lean down and pick up the cartridge, so I have to revert back to a kind-of-worn disposable I keep as a spare in the shower.I did write Schick and they said that one of the plastic "clamps" which holds the blade cartridge in place must be loose, so the manufacturer DID send me a coupon to replace this razor with another one, and they also sent a coupon to cover the cost of the 4 cartridges that fell off (which fall blades-down, making them unusable afterward because they are out of alignment once they hit the tile floor).So, overall...this particular product isn't up to par...but Schick does have a lifetime warranty on all of their products, and they made good on their promise.

I have multiple razors and just buy the blades that are on sale when I need them. So, I switch between Quattro, Hydro, and Mach 3. Mach 3 is my favorite. It seems to last the longest and is the least pulling on the hair, but Quattro gets the job done as well. One thing for sure, I will never go back to cheap razors again.

The Schick Quattro Midnight razor delivers an impeccable shave for a great price. Unless you're shaving off more than a few days stubble, which I have, the blades are very easy to rinse and are not prone to clogging.

It works well for me since I have sensitive skin, and I tired of throwing my money away on disposable razors.

I bought this razor to replace my other Schick Quattro razor. The grip on my old razor deteriorated and started peeling off, so I had to find a replacement. I like using men's razors to shave my legs because I find that they pivot better and provide a smoother shave.

This is without a doubt the best razor I've ever used. I've had to teach myself not to keep going over an area 5 times because the razor glides along so smoothly, I can't tell it's actually shaving but it is!I looked at the women's equivalent in the Quattro but the razor blades are more expensive for exactly the same thing so I went with the mans version.

Wanted to give these a try. It was alright. After two weeks, my wife said that she felt like the Gillette Fusion provided a much closer shave. We switched back to the Gillette Fusion.
