Great headphones, great sound!
After buying a copy pair of Airpods for £30, which were OK, they finally failed after 12 months. I was looking at the upgraded ones which were £45 and the apple ones for £125. Blue tooth is handy but it' just something else I have to charge, and they always seem to run out half way through a dog walk. So I started looking and these had good reviews, thinking I'd get a better sound quality from Pioneer then copy airpods and I was right. The sound is excellent! I have done a side by side test with the apple wired headphones and there's no comparison. The fit is also excellent to, no problem with them falling out. There's plenty of different sizes in the box but I stuck with the ones it came with. I find that the noise cancelling works very well to. To sum up, if you want a good pair of earbuds, go with a quality wired set rather than unknown bluetooth make and you won't be disappointed. In fact just get these. If you look on the Pioneer web site, these are $149 so at under £50, you can't go wrong. The app is great to for fine tuning. Also, I like the way they pause whatever your listening to when you take them out your ears.

Pathetic headphones, even worse customer service
Bought these in February, and for a month they worked like a dream. Then, I suddenly started getting notifications stating they weren't a compatible accessory, and stopped working completely. After flagging this to Pioneer, I was sent steps to try and fix the problem, but none worked. Eventually, they agreed to send me a new pair. This took a fortnight to arrive, and when they did the sound quality was noticeably quieter with the second pair, the noise cancelling didn't work at all and there was a weird issue where the sound would fluctuate during songs. Despite all this, I tried to work through it, but again after a month, I got the compatible accessory notifications again, and they were completely useless. After asking Pioneer for a refund, they refused but offered an Amazon voucher instead. That was three weeks ago, and it still hasn't arrived, despite numerous follow-up emails.Stay well away - a terrible product that will infuriate you, from a company that will only pile that fury on.

Decent headphones ONCE you calibrate with the app
Out of the box they’re “ok” - struggled to get the right fit as other people have mentioned but started again with the smallest size and worked up until one fit well, no issues now with them falling out even when walking around. They sound a little quiet initially but once you update the firmware and calibrate them using the Pioneer Rayz app from the App Store they perform a lot better, volume is no issue and decent enough quality for the price. Noise cancellation seems to work well on first impressions too.

Good sound quality
I have just bought a second pair of these as I have been so impressed with the pair I bought many years ago ( and still going strong). The app allows you to enhance the sound and and equalise. I like a lot of bass so good to be able to add that. In the years I’ve had my other set, I’ve never had any breakages or loss of sound quality and I use them almost every day. This new set seem to be of the same quality. I’m not a sound technician - but I’m really surprised by some of the other reviews. I think the sound is really good quality (once altered using the app). I like the fact you can listen and charge your phone at the same time and the ease of changing track with the remote. Also note - the ‘brown’ ones are not brown, but rose gold on black. They come with many spare ear bits of all sizes.

Fantastic sound quality and noise cancellation.
I first tried out these earphones in Japan (they have hundreds on display to play with) and instantly fell in love with them because of their deep clear and natural sound. I then ordered Rayz on Amazon on my return to the UK. When I first used my new earphones, clearly something was wrong, the sound was not what I expected. I then installed the Rayz app and updated the firmware as the manual advised - and bingo! The sound changed from lazy to lively and amazing, much louder and deeper. The app also allows configuring the buttons and calibrate noise cancellation to the environment you are in. This really works, I calibrated with my TV on and it perfectly cancelled out the TV sound thereafter. I believe people who scored this product low just need to follow the manual and update the firmware. Out of the box it sounds rather disappointingly indeed.

Disappointing
Was looking for a standard pair of wired headphones from a decent brand. They feel very poorly made. They seem to exaggerate the outside sound in the right ear. I was sitting upstairs and could hear the downstairs TV coming through my right earbud (was the weirdest sensation). The jack that goes into the iPhone doesn't fit nicely and moves around, therefore, the sounds randomly comes out of the phone - Not good when on a train surrounded by people. With the jack being so unstable and when my phone is in my pocket, the sound keeps turning off, so I end up holding my phone in my hand to make sure the music stays on. Really disappointing purchase.

Very good quality sound under certain conditions
These have a really great, rounded sound. In the right conditions they sound much better than the cheap Sony headphones I used for years, before being forced to move to ones with a lightning connector. The key points are:- I have not been able to get them to stay in my ears with a good enough fit to maintain the bass end. I have to keep pushing them back in. I think it’s to do with the size of the speaker rather than the buds. I’ve tried the S, M & L. M is best but still not quite right.- The shape of the earphones results in quite loud wind noise. Much more noise than I have ever heard on previous pairs of phones.- The noise cancelling is very good indeed, but I would give it up if the phones could be made smaller/rounder as a result, reducing wind noise.Edit: Dropped to two stars. I gave up on these after three months because they were not suitable for walking about with. The lightning cable end became unstable when walking with phone in jeans pocket resulting in frequent annoying pauses. The wind noise and constant need to push them back in was also too annoying in the end. I would say these are suitable for use in a noisy office where the noise cancelling would work well but not suitable if you expect to walk outside.

Impressive noise canceling in comfortable ear bud form factor
I was looking for comfortable noise canceling ear buds in a small form factor. I often listen to audiobooks when I go to bed with a sleep timer and didn’t want to use my blue tooth air pod pros. They’re not comfortable in that type of setting and I’d viscerally rather take a break from blue tooth audio. These are perfect. The sound is impressive. The available calibrating app is easy to use. The iPhone or iPad must be the power source for the noise canceling capability so I have some concern about battery usage but, so far, it’s been great and worth it. Highly recommended.

Ottime cuffie, suono discreto
