I love chalk paint. Used these to paint badly-marked leather bags. So easy and no mixing or hanging about.Another time I might be creative and paint pictures on the item.

They must have completely changed their recipe. Doesn't feel anything like the Annie Sloan chalk paint I have used in the past. Thick and tacky, it leaves really obvious brushmarks when applied. It did cover well enough mind. Horrible texture.Addition: It dries to a chalky looking finish, and looks perfectly fine - so not as bad as first thought - but still shows paint brush texture.

I've been using any Sloan paint on all sorts of surfaces for the last 15 to 20 years and I know the paint inside out, what it's capable of, how to use it and how to finish it with the wax. I bought this tester to sample the color cream and whilst I quite like the color there is something very wrong with the paint. I have applied it to a normal slightly sanded surface and you can see in the photos that the paint sets very awkwardly on top of the wooden surface. The paint doesn't flatten or smooth but rather you can see every horrible brush stroke in it. In other parts of the dresser where I sample the color, it just slid off the paint. Maybe all of these samples are testers which are well out of date, I really don't know but I will never buy again from this seller.

Great product and can be diluted and also mixed to change colours.A brilliant paint for furniture.
