Too many flaws for such an investment.
I wanted a sports watch that would allow me to leave behind smartphone, yet still measure heart rate, store music, and have GPS to determine pace. The two main ones I found are the Adidas Smart Run and TomTom Spark. I initially bought the Smart Run, and was disappointed. The GPS was very inaccurate, took about 3 minutes to lock onto GPS before starting run, and poor bluetooth connection. I ended up returning and getting TomTom Spark, and like the Spark much more. Here's a summary of my impressions of Smart Run:Pros:-Comfortable silicone wristband.-Well constructed, sleek design.-Touchscreen-Compatible with MixRadio, which isn't great, but has pre-loaded running mixes-Great training though micoach.com-Connects through WiFiCons:-Very bulky, especially for small wrists.-Bluetooth connection not great. I used same headphones on my smartphone with no issues, but with the Smart Run I have to wear on my right wrist to get any connection, and the volume is very low.-Auto stop is delayed several seconds.-GPS not accurate. From a few runs and walks, it was about 10% underestimated. **This was the killer for me.-GPS takes close to 3 minutes to lock on.-Touchscreen can be unresponsive, especially in cold.-Not waterproof.

its great for rehad
its great for rehad. battery runs out quickly, but i don t care about that. my workout is walking while kicking 2 soccer balls. i aim one at the other. longstory..back issues, breathing issues...due to car accidents.i was gifted the bluetooth 4.0 , soccer shoe sensor a year ago. the watch works with it.i had over 50 miles of workouts here. it is great to have all this data work together on the web. it is stunning.gps is very good. my smartrun updated a few times. it is a big learning curve. the videos on the web are excellent.i used to use a phone for heart rate,,,but it deleted most of my 120 beats and above. it saw them as errors. carrying a phone to your workout, it is a bad idea. a good way to destroy your phone. i dropped mine.i used to use a phone for steps, distance, heart rate, gps...i wore a shirt, that had a pocket for the phone. that setup forced me to slow down. to get gps, heart rate, steps, distance, time, etc. truly crappy. so the software showed alot of stopping and standing still. with the smartrun, it collects all of this quickly. i get twice the workout in half the time. just amazing. the data points are auto collect. i can see them in real time, or look at better details when i get home, on the web.i have not tested music or downloaded workouts. yet...so far,,,awesome upgrade....still testing, learning.

Nice product bad quality and worse customer support!!
The specifications and the functionality of this sport watch are amazing but just after 5 o 6 times of using the watch just went crazy. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to acquire the GPS signal, suddenly the displays freezes and it does not work anymore. I have tested in different locations where my Garmin 910x has no problem at all. I upgrade my watch to this "supposedly" premium product but it is totally disappointing. I understand there are always exceptions with quality and even the best product can fail but what it is not acceptable is the lack of customer support. Besides, the supplier D7oom after 3 emails has not even bother to answer me. Adidas and D7oom suck!!

Save your money
Pros:1. Continuous optical heart rate monitor.2. Gives you plenty of stats on your run3. The Interface is large enough that you can press what you want while running.Cons:1. Setting your Wi-Fi password must be done from the watch. The interface for this is horrible.2. GPS lock time can take anywhere from 20 seconds to 3 minutes (With the update).3. You can't start your workout until it gets a GPS lock.4. Lost my heart rate three times in a one hour workout. When this watch works it does a fairly good job of tracking your run route. Other features like pace and speed did not work so well for me. Often it would take 10-15 seconds to update my pace to the correct speed. Or if I stopped the watch would still show me running for a few seconds. For the price I can't suggest that you buy this watch. 300$+ is far too much for how little the watch does overall.

Small fingers needed...
I am thrilled to have a sport watch that will not only measure my performance, but play music to avoid the need to carry multiple items when running, or any other exercise . Unfortunately, I set the watch to US (miles) and it continues to read in European distances (km). I also find it difficult to change settings as the face is so small that when I try to hit option a, option b is triggered. Hopefully, I can figure out alternatives and avoid those frustrations. Nevertheless, overall I am pleased simply to have the options... As long as you know what you're embarking upon, I nevertheless recommend this product.

Shoddy HRM...everything else is fine.
I've had this watch for a little over a year. Sadly, the HRM has stopped working, which is really frustrating. Have tried multiple factory resets to correct the issue, but it hasn't worked.I've reached out to Adidas support group about the issue and I'm hoping they'll help me resolve it. The 1-year warranty has just expired...of course.Aside from that the integrated MP3 is awesome, and the GPS is great, when it works.

Looks good. works good
Looks good. works good. We wanted a watch with a built in memory for music so we didn't have to carry around our big phones. Love this product.

Avoid this product!
I'm having the same issues as the other posters. Just over a month of ownership and GPS is not linking up any longer. The touch screen appears to work infrequently. When I return from a run and try to stop it doesn't respond. HR monitor is working infrequently as well. Very disappointed. I'm going back to my old Garmin 305. Have had it for years and not one issue.
