SHIRES PLASTIC RIDER CHEESE GRATER STIRRUPS IRONS WITH METAL TREAD NEW 4.75"

I bought these stirrups as I've had real issues with my foot slipping though the stirrup and wedging against the heel of my boot. I've used these irons out hacking, in flat and jump lessons and out on the xc course. My foot stays where it needs to be with no slipping. Even my instructor has commented on the difference these stirrups have made The only downside to these irons is that the hole for the leather is quite narrow and I couldn't fit my dressage leathers though.

These stirrup types are great for keeping your feet in the right place and no longer move about even if I shift my weight a little. The arch is a lot higher than your average stirrup iron though, so you need to shorten your leathers when using these. However, despite this, they are pretty good and time will tell how long you get before the "grater" part wears away.

Have a problem loosing my stirrups, but since using these feel more secure in the saddle. Even daughter likes them too. Recommended.

really light but not a particulary attractive design, were much wider on the tread than I expected but have proven great for hacking out in all weathers over various terrain providing an excellent grip

Highly recommend, they really help keepYour feet in the perfect riding position with no slipping at all in any weather conditions. Excellent price too.

Brilliant comfy and really grip well

I love these stirrups, already have a set on my dressage saddle, now got them on my working hunter too. They definitely help keep your feet in place.
