Half moon window shade
Works like it should. Pain in the butt to cut. Piece of advice find the best kitchen knife but don’t tell the wife. Cuts like butter. Looks good.

Looks good once set up, frustrating install.
For something seemingly so straight forward, this was a huge pita to install. Took me a few hours over a couple nights and most of that time was trial and error re cutting it. I had the problem where the radius was 36 inches left to right but from center to the top was 35 inches. So needed to cut off an inch. I knew scissors would make a huge mess so tried a hack saw...nope, then youtubed it and found people cut blinds with a miter saw. Tried that and the thing bucked back and flew in my face...frayed the end of the blind wildly. So then I had the thought of trying to compress the blind very tight to essentially treat it like I was cutting a piece of wood. Had a couple scrap 1 in wide pieces of plywood hanging around and tightly bound those on either side with packing tape so I could see where I needed to cut. I also used the miter saw clamp and screwed it down as tight as I could compressing it even more. Used a combination blade and went very slowly. Yep that did the trick. Very neat and staight cut.Looks good but since the left and right is wider than top, light shines thru but much better than it used to be. Did get a kick out of the installation video where it says if it's not fitting, fix it. Lol if only it were that easy!

Did the trick, but it’s not easy.
After opening the box and seeing how horrendous the instructions were and the broken QR video link (took me to another product), I read through the reviews for help.Right when I saw multiple reviews regarding how hard it was to cut, I knew I had to keep reading to find a better trick. Someone said they used a miter saw and used some wood to tightly clamp the fan. That made sense to me.I have soft jaw 4’ clamps so I didn’t use the wood, plus my chop saw handle hit the wood so I couldn’t use them anyway.First cut was pretty easy, but my measurement was a bit short, so I had to cut it again another inch. The second cut wasn’t as smooth and ripped some of the material at the end of the cut so it wasn’t exactly flush. I used some large dykes to clean up the cut. After that the install went decent. Total took about 30 min.The full install written goes like this:1) Measure bottom of window to top of window. If the measurement is less than that of half the width of the window, then some of your window is going to peak out of the sides. Unfortunately the height of your window dictates your cut.2) Cut based on your measurement.3) Clean base of window so adhesive sticks.4) Install the plastic holder at center of window base.5) Install the adhesive 3M side of your fan onto the left or right bottom side of your window utilizing one half of the plastic holder.6) Fan it out until it’s a full half moon, then remove the magnetic side’s adhesive and press it down.Good luck.Oh and I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU DECIDE TO USE POWERTOOLS. That is simply what I did.

Once you find something to cut it with, it is great to block the sun and looks nice
It's not as difficult as it seems, but you do have to measure and adjust. The hard part is finding something to cut this with. I mean, if you have circular saws, hand saws, you are fine, but good scissors wouldn't cut it (see what I did there?) I ended up struggling with a box cutter but got it done. Looking back, maybe a serrated knife would have worked better. It really does look nice, blocks out the direct sun and didn't cost $100.

Very nice simple installation
Wanted sone kind of shade to block light and heat and this is perfect. My window measurements are weird17.5x17I ended up having to cut to 16”. Is it perfect? No. Just a tad bit of space on either side but it still looks good and does the job. I “stretched” them side to side as much as I couldI measured and marked the shade and I used my serrated kitchen knife to saw through. There is adhesive on one side and double magnet with adhesive strip on the other.Probably only took me 20 minutes or do to complete job
