CANON PIXMA MG2920 Wireless Inkjet All-in-One Printer/Copier/Scanner

If you're like me you are in the market for a affordable printer because the cost of replacing the ink on your old printer is not economical. Having to spend half the ink trying to "clean and allign" only to still have poor results just isn't worth the money. That being said I wasn't looking to drop hundreds for something that is going to rack up more excessive ink costs only to be worn out in two years. I didn't need anything too fancy. I do have a home business with a school aged child if that helps you understand the demand I put on a printer.Un-boxing and setup was a breeze. Setting up the cloud printing feature was painless and VERY useful. The colors from a color copy were slightly muted but very crisp and sharp. I like the small profile and lightweight design.Overall the build quality and design live up to expectations of the Canon brand. The print quality it's excellent and fast. The value of the price point is unbeatable. Add the extended warranty for a few bucks and it will definitely meet and exceed your home printing needs.

I was looking for an inexpensive basis printer and the Canon Pixma MG2920 fits the bill perfectly.It arrived on time and well packaged. Unboxed the printer and removed all tape securing the parts, set itup, installed the cartridges with no difficulty at all and proceeded to the installation. I work from home andI have my wireless network along with a Windows based work laptop and my personal MacBook Air.I must say this was the easiest set up\install I have ever done on a printer. I went to the Canon website andchose my printer model from a list, hit setup, and followed the prompts. Five minutes for each laptop and theprinter was set up and ready. This was all done via wireless. Last step was to align the print heads so I loadedpaper, followed the instructions and boom, setup was complete. All told it was a total of about 20 minutes frombox to completely set up on a Windows and a Mac laptop via a wireless connection with no adult language or beveragesneeded. Oh and by the way - the print quality is just fine for everything I will be using it for. Having been aroundlonger than I care to admit, I must say that it continues to amaze me, the quality and features that you can get ona sub $50 printer these days.

I had this for a while we didn't use it often but was nice having it being wireless. Worked fine for a while we barely got through the ink that came with it and i had ordered more ink and it started taking paper and turning it sideways I couldn't see the rollers but my son managed to get his hand in side far enough to feel something on the roller, but couldn't get it off so I took it apart to clean it. I took off the surround for the buttons and pulled off the ribbon cables from the circuit board and one of the cable receptacles came off with the ribbon and I knew the printer was trash at this point but i continued just to see what was on the roller, Turns out there was a sticker on the roller from the printer itself i could make out enough of the numbers on the sticker to determine it was the same PN as the printer. We never even used a whole stack of paper on this. Kinda sad the printer was cheaply made i liked having it.

It's a great printer for quick and dirty printing. I wouldn't buy this for photo prints. This is meant for printing documents every once and a while. Prints a b/w document pretty dang fast. The best thing about this printer is quickly turning it off and then when I need to print I turn it on and its ready to print in 10 seconds. If you are looking for a cheap, reliable, and efficient printer then look no further. For the price this is a no-brainer. For printer for the student it's ideal. Not the smallest but it's nice and I like the white color of it.I did have a problem getting it to work with wifi, eventually I got it but took me a bit. I had to change my wifi security settings and that took awhile, but if you have the USB hookup for it then you'll have no problem. That USB hookup does NOT come with it fyi.Anyways its a great printer if you are trying to find something cheap and just print some documents.

I don't need a printer much, but when I do I definitely need it. This printer installed easily and worked like advertised. What I did not know was that it came with its own ink cartridges. Ironic, since the cartridges are more expensive than this printer. It is obviously a cheap printer and probably wouldn't last a long time with heavy use. But, it copies great, prints great (wireless too), and prints relatively fast. The best part is that it costs almost nothing for a printer and does not take up much room. I needed a small printer and this thing is pretty small and very lightweight.If you need a printer for just casual use than this is your printer.

Arrived fast. The printer itself is great, print quality is great and the size is perfect for tight places. The ink refills are one of the cheapest on the market. Now everything about this printer is great for the price you cant go wrong BUT! The wireless printing no matter what i did i could not get to work or connect with my phone via the PIXMA app. So if you are buying this printer for that particular feature i would pass on it. If your looking for a GREAT low price low maintenance cost printer dont hesitate to buy this one.

The printer arrived ahead of schedule. I had to do some rearranging in my living room to get a stand to set it on, and set it up today. No problems doing so. Everything went smoothly and it was set up in less than 30 minutes. There was an error message regarding print head alignment, but Canon "told" me what to do, and the error disappeared. I'm a happy camper!

Just became my favourite printer. For the value we pay for the printer and the cartridges, it's so cheap. Because Shaw in Canada started this one router with 2 accesses thing (Shawxxxxxx and Shawxxxxx-5G), it took me a long time to realize the printer and the laptop needs to be on the same one to work. Brothers printer actually was able to identify they're both from the same router. Other than the installation, it prints a little bit slow for the color prints. Everything else for the price and the value are pretty good and satisfying.
