Great Product! Amazon will break it on the way to you!!!
The pump is made of very heavy cast iron and has the electrical connections on the outside in a casing that is made of very thin tin. This is a really heavy duty rugged piece of equipment. I have no problems with the construction and performance of this product, it is great. Amazon will pack the pump in a box, with the air filled bags. This, however, doesn't do much unless the box itself is padded to protect from impact of this side of the box to a hard surface. The casing will crush like a cheap soda can. The airbags will arrive completely flat. It has been a year now, and so I decided that I better have a backup pump. So far this week I have returned 2 pumps crushed in shipping. I will order another one again to see if I can receive an undamaged one. I really feel sorry for the supplier that has to pay for the shipping and the repair of the damaged pumps due to Amazon not packing this item correctly before shipping. If I really needed this pump fast. I would order from a third-party supplier and not Amazon Prime. The supplier would be much more careful with the merchandise. I have had 1 out of 5 arrive without major damage. (The one that arrived in a usable condition I had to do some repair in order to use it and keep my house warm)

Third party seller - no warranty!!!
This item was bought through South Ave East, LLC and died after 3 months of use. The manufacturer offers a three year warranty but not if it is sold through a third party which South Ave East is. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They charge full price then don't honor warranty. This company does not get the equipment from the manufacturer so STEER CLEAR! Also - Owner does not respond to messages until Amazon gets involved. Resolving my issue, which was not really resolved took a year.

Trustworthy Quality Manufacturer
I use to pump 180 degree water into my house from a wood furnace. I have bought several of these, different sizes. Taco pumps are top notch.

Buy direct, avoid the incredible markups of a contractor.
Replacement circulator pump for residential hydronic heating system. Price paid was exactly 1/4 of what our greedy HVAC contractor quoted.

3 year warranty not honored by Amazon
pump burned out after 75 days and Amazon won't honor the 3 year manufacturer's warranty and manufacturer says it's up to Amazon to honor the warranty. I got totally screwed by Amazon/manufacturer. Warranty is worth nothing.

High quality duty pumps.
Got here quickly, both running well , supplying hot water for a motel , chose the bigger size because these pumps run for years.
