Wow! That's all I can say!
So I wanted to mount lenses to my iphone X, with the potential to keep my rig and upgrade my phone in the future and keep the same rig. In particular, I wanted to mount the moondog labs anamorphic lens (37 mm screw mount). I thought I would have to buy the Beastgrip rig but it runs $150-$185. Ouch! I stumbled across this and was hesitant because it only had 1 review.I'm so glad I took the leap! It has 2 thread sizes, and it does fit the moondog labs lens. Additionally, the phone lens perfectly aligns and is nice and snug against the mounting area. This is a FANTASTIC alternative to the Beastgrip at a massive savings. I can't recommend this enough for those of you who want to build a phone camera/video rig!

All the benefits of a beastgrip without the wallet hit.
I'm extremely pleased with this item. After reading other reviews I had an idea of any potential issues to watch out for.As I do with most things I buy I gave it a thorough once over before putting my phone in to try it out. (making sure all screws are secure etc.) Everything arrived properly tight. Only thing I did as a preventative measure was put foam plugs in the holes on the bottom where the rods for the phone gripper are to make sure that if one happened to come lose (as I saw mentioned in another review) they don't get lost.I may be different than the normal consumer as I look for ways to personalize and customize things I buy which is why making small modifications seems a natural thing to do. But in this case the lack of modifications I felt were needed was a nice change. Most I did was sand the mold lines to smooth out the surface a bit more.

Good durability and nice mounting points, tripod as well as lens compatible
Good quality for the price. Amazing replacement to the super expensive beast grip and the sort. Used this with an on camera light and mic. I was able to use this rig with the iphone 7 plus on a slider without any issues. I would highly recommend this grip if you are thinking of filming with your phone as a B-Cam etc.Good part is it has extra mounting points for a battery pack connected to your phone. For extended lengths of shooting.

A lot of bang for the buck!
A lot of bang for the buck! So I have to stay in full disclosure I own the more expensive BeastGrip model That I feel this was based on. And I have to say you get a lot of bang for your buck with this! It’s so cheap it actually comes with a lot of bells and whistle’s,What is made of what feels like a composite plastic material not the aluminum in the more expensive model, but that being said it does give you the ability to melt the holder vertically as well as horizontally which does not come on the more expensive model. It also gives you to Cold shoes To mount accessories on. This one is a no brainer definitely pick it up if you do a lot of filming on your phone

Stability issues
I really wanted to like this camera grip, but I could not find a position where the bracket/clamp that holds your phone in position wouldn't wobble. There was always too much play between the camera and the lens system. The construction was better than what I was expecting, except for a sharp edge or two on the plastic, but the lens system issue really kills the deal.

Excellent low cost competitor
The only real issue I have is how my finger tends to fall in front of the lens. This could be due to my larger body phone, but it definitely makes it awkward and hard to hold comfortably for long periods of time. The build quality is excellent considering the price. I’m sure over time, the knobs that tighten the different arms will probably stop holding tension. All in all, very worthy phone stabilizer. I look forward to adding a lens adapter

iPhone XS Lens Doesn't Fit Zecti Lens Mount
On the whole the Zecti Phone Rig gets the job done. The rig provides plenty of mounting points (both 1/4" and cold shoe) and is reasonably sturdy, though it did not have enough horizontal rigidity to hold my phone and ND filter on the side mount. My major complaint is that the lens mount on the Zecti is circular whereas the iPhone XS lens is oblong, so there is not a tight seal around the iPhone lens. Because of this, I get light leakage between the phone and attached lens when filming or taking photos. Without lenses this isn't an issue but when I add an ND filter the light leakage creates swirls and reflections in the middle of the image.

Worth the money!
This rig is a great way to stabilize your footage when shooting handheld or with a tripod and the fact that you can add lenses to it (I used the lens offered by Beastgrip) adds to the value. It’s not aluminum built but it is very sturdy and definitely gets the job done at a budget friendly price. I ended up getting a second one and now have a two smartphone camera system going. I love it!
