Alpecin C1 Caffeine Shampoo, 8.45 fl oz, Caffeine Shampoo Cleanses the Scalp to Promote Natural Hair Growth, Leaves Hair Feeling Thicker and Stronger

I am in my mid-sixties and have experienced gradual hair loss with age. Alpecin was recommended by my hair stylist as a shampoo to retard hair loss, and promote hair regeneration. My findings after 2 and 1/2 years of use:A GREAT SHAMPOO (at least for my thinning hair)- It's formulation does, as claimed, leave my hair with good body- A small amount (est. 1/3 the volume of other shampoos) left on the scalp for 2 minutes while I shower does the trick- I no longer need to use conditioner- I also the Alpecin after-shampoo liquid after showering (stopped once, noticed less body, so resumed. A definite difference using it)NEGLIGIBLE EFFECT ON HAIR LOSS- My dermatologist agrees with the benefits of caffeine, but advised that there is not clinical evidence to support that topical application restores hair growth or retards hair loss- The rate of my hair loss/thinning appears to have been reduced, though I attribute this more to the effect of leaving my hair with fuller body (Congrats to those reviewers who have witnessed hair regeneration)Overall, I highly recommend it as a daily shampoo. Not sure of its therapeutic value, but as it gives hair more body it's certainly the best shampoo I've found for improving the hair's appearance.

I quit using all my hair growth products (Rogaine, Paradon shampoo, biotin, etc.), as it was just getting too expensive for what little results that I could see.I say this for $9, and thought why not.This stuff works as well as all the above. I have hair growth - not a lot, but it is there.It smells great, there is a nice lather. I thought about using it as a body wash, but didn't want to look like a yeti.My .02 is that this is a bargain buy.

Losing ones hair makes one desperate to try anything .Cheap shampoo that dries out your hair and makes it more brittle, thus..( like if you used a bar of soap) .. you loose even more .Because there is caffeine in it and the bottle says “made in Germany “ doesn’t mean S***

Been using this product even from before, now ordered 2 more but after 5 months of use there is no change in my hair, still losing it the same, if not even worse, plus it dries the hair a lot! If it is a German product it doesn't mean it is a quality product, plus it contains parabens, very bad! Disappointed!

Let me start with I am a male in my mid 30s I have a full head of hair but its thinning. I have a lot of what they call lifeless hair. This shampoo actually says what it says it does. It give your hair more lift and makes hair look thicker after one shampoo use. Will it regrow hair that you already lost? I highly doubt it. Nothing will regrow your hair unless you get a hair transplant. So don't get your hopes high.

The hair stays fresh longer than usual. The volume it gives is amazing. It smells really good. It's a definete winner compared to more expensive brands.

If you notice your hair is thinning and you have hair fall, This shampoo really has the power to stop the hair fall. The smell is great and it will leave the scalp soft and moist (not oily). I have been using this for 3 years and I have noticed that I am not losing my hair but it doesn't help you to regrow the hair from the follicles. It maintains whatever you have right now.

So, this stuff actually works. I guess the caffeine stimulates you hair to give it a fuller look. I already have thin hair on top , after i shampoo it and dry it, my hair is thicker . i have tried so many other shampoos and finally found one that works. The shampoo smells nice too. If you have oily hair, this shampoo will work wonders. If its dry, you will probably get dandruff unless you use a conditioner after, but that would defeat the purpose of this shampoo. I'm going to order another bottle. I dont ever want to run out.

I had radiotherapy and lost all my hair when it grew back it was weaker and this seems to be helping strengthen my hair after only a week

its a good shampoo for hairloss I consider using argan oil after washing your hair with this product.

Io l'ho utilizzato per quasi un anno da quando ho iniziato a perdere i capelli, ma non è servito a nulla se non a regalare soldi alla ditta. Ora mi rado la testa da un anno ed è molto meglio. Meglio calvi che con un cespuglietto in testa.
