Review: Fit and work but slightly taller could be big difference - Fits and works, but here's what you should know that isn't in the listing info. Definitely a GU10 bulb and connection fit, but this bulb is about 1/16" longer than the GE GU10 they're replacing. Other reviewers noted the extra length, too, so I was aware ahead of ordering and okay with it. If you're sensitive or exacting about how the bulbs set in your appliance - flush versus protruding - the difference may be huge. Diameter is same. My GE halogen bulbs were not flush to my range hood, but they were close at the edge, with a rounded lenses. The GEPLAD bulbs, with white edges and because they're longer, stick out noticeably more, about 1/8". Other: * The GEPLAD is whiter and brighter, and because they're LED instead of halogen, don't get scorching hot, save electricity. Nice! * The difference between low and high light settings on my range with the GEPLAD bulbs is not as pronounced as with the old bulbs. I'm writing this review after getting the bulbs today. I'm hopeful they last "up to 20000 hours or over 13.6 years" as published.
