This item was as described and seems to be very good quality. It is adjustable so you can control how tight to wear it.Instructions said to wash it before use so I did that. Hand washed and line dried. After that is it easy to put on and adjust the tightness. I first did this in a mirror to help with the positioning.This does help to keep your mouth shut while sleeping, though you can open it when awake so it isn't like it is too restricting. For cases where people are mouth breathing affecting their sleep quality, this could help to prevent that and aid in better sleep.This also works for CPAP users where mouth breathing while using a nasal type mask is problematic. This will keep your mouth closed so that the CPAP can work more effectively with a nasal or nasal pillow type mask.

My husband’s mouth would come open while sleeping and using his CPAP. This device prevents that. Admittedly, to add ANOTHER thing around his head in addition to the CPAP is t super pleasant, but it does keep him from waking up with a sore throat or startling awake. Does the job it’s meant to do.

The chinstrap seems to be well made in good quality, with breathable material that is comfortable and it does not irritate skin. It is easy to put on and adjust with the Velcro strap. This strap is about the same size as the rest and it does pull my jaw backwards to keep my mouth closed. I can still open my mouth with it if I choose to do so. It stays on and does not fall off during the night and help to reduce snoring.

On me, this product failed in 2 areas. One, it's not designed at the proper angle to keep my jaw from droppings down when I begin to fall asleep. 2. If you have a smaller sized head, the velcro may run out before it becomes attached. I returned it.

The quality of this chin strap is impressive—soft, comfortable, and well-made. It took me a few nights to get the fit just right, but once adjusted, it worked well to keep my mouth closed without feeling too tight. It’s comfortable to wear, and I appreciate that it’s adjustable.

The quality and materials that were used to make this chin strap seem to be phenomenal, as everything feels strong while being soft and comfortable, but it doesn't work for me. I'm still messing around with trying to get it to fit properly, but every time I try to wear it, it slips down under my chin and then won't hold me mouth shut. I don't blame any of that on the manufacturer, I think it's just a skull shape issue, so this could work very well for someone else.
