Rome B26 Pillar Sundial Pedestal, Cast Iron with Antique Painted Finish, 24-Inch Height by 8-Inch Diameter

The pedestal is a nice weight that doesn't easily tip-over. The fluted columnar style design goes with my sundial quite well...not too plain, nor too fancy. The order was delivered in good condition in a timely manner. I would buy from this company again.

This is a lovely product - but we didn't care for the color. So, painted it with a rattle can - three coats, and put our sundial on it. Looks great. Has nice weight. Withstood a recent windstorm without blowing over.

As usual, when reading reviews for items purchased online, where the color matters....It's not really the color I was hoping for. I had previously purchased the Armillary (as shown), made from the same manufacturer, but the colors are not the same. Pillar is definitely blue and the armillary is green. Other than that, seems well made, fairly substantial, bolted to the armillary very easily. Oh well, maybe the ivy I planted around the bottom will grow up the pillar and hide the different color.

Very nice product, BUT the picture is misleading and the words DO NOT clearly state that this is the BASE ONLY. I thought that price was too good to be true for something that looks as nice as this. So now I went and spent the extra $60 for the sundial top. Not sure I would have spent the whole $160 if this was clear when shopping in the first place, but here we are.

This sundial pedestal also makes a perfect pedestal for an Apple HomePod speaker. It’s very sturdy and has good weight without being too heavy.

I thought I was getting the whole as pictured but only received the pedestal. I do like the quality and weight of the pedestal and purchased the sundial spearately but the actual color is mostly turquoise so we spray painted with rustoleum black to give it a more patina look.

I have two of these in my yard and they have held up very well. No complaints.

Attaching the sundial took some tweaking around but now it looks fabulous!
