Watkins All Natural Original Gourmet Pure Vanilla Bean Paste, 2 oz.

I had not tried it before, but thought I'd give it try. I've use it in cakes. I have not put in in anything where the small seeds might show, but I know the taste would still be great. I feel it is the best, easier way, of getting vanilla flavor close to using real vanilla seeds. It comes in a regular flavoring bottle, but is more of a paste. However, it still comes out easily. I used the same amount as I'd use the liquid. I love making candy for Christmas, and will be using this for it, and for cookies. (Will buy it again.)

I used it in some whipped cream the other day to try it out it’s good. I’m making a pie today that calls for vanilla paste, I’ve never used it before. But I really like Watkins vanilla! It’s the best!

This paste is great when making homemade ice cream. Very naturally sweet.

This vanilla is slightly sweet. I used it to make hot or cold foam for my coffee and tea. It even has little vanilla bean seeds. Not strong enough in flavor for baking cookies, but for custards and milk based recipes, it’s delicious!
