Taste: Most have said that this has no taste and breaks down easily. I haven’t found that to be true. I tried putting it in juice, and it was clumpy. So instead I put it in my morning coffee, and it made the coffee a little bitter. At first, I thought it was because I was getting over a cold. But then I actually made a cup of coffee the exact same way with and without it, and tasted the bitterness. The vanilla is slightly better. That said, it’s not terrible. It was just slight. As for results: I’ve always had thick hair, strong nails (except for after I gave them gel painted), and supple fairly wrinkle free skin (for a 49 year old). I’ve been taking this supplement for about 8 weeks now, and the one thing that I’ve noticed is that my hair doesn’t break off in the shower anymore. I have very little hair in my hairbrush too. And less “frizz” at the top of my head (my hair is naturally wavy), particularly with break offs. Plus- I sleep fairly soundly and in in the same position throughout the night. And often woke up with a backache/neck ache. I haven’t changed anything about my bed or pillows (wanted to see if this product was worth it or not). And the pain is virtually gone. Therefore, I’d truly call this result successful. So- if I could, I’d give 4.5 stars for the slightly bitter taste, but 5.5 stars for the results. It’s super cost effective, with another brand with essentially the same ingredients costing twice as much as this one! Thus the reason for the full 5 stars!

After a kidney and pancreas transplant, I started noticing changes. My hair was falling out because of it becoming brittle, my nails were breaking more easily and my skin just didn't feel the same. I was advised a collagen powder could be added to my routine and so I started the hunt. Previous powders were a no-go because they either didn't blend well, turn into jelly or left the strangest aftertaste. I was advised to try Sports Research and it was love at first scoop. I throw it in my morning coffee and it blends well along with the vanilla replacing my coffee creamer most days but sometimes I throw a splash of flavored coffee creamer to mix with the vanilla and it tastes delicious. I've been using Sports Research for about a year now and my hair feels fuller, I'm trimming my nails every week and I've been told I've got my glow back for my skin. It's definitely a must try!

At this point of time I'm on my 4th container of the vanilla collagen powder and still on my 1st of the chocolate collagen powder and they're absolutely fantastic in terms of ingredients, taste, and general value I personally prefer the taste of the vanilla powder significantly more even as a chocolate lover (and the vanilla has 10 less calories per scoop if you care), but do note in the picture I've attached that the chocolate version is actually bigger than the vanilla for some reason (by several ounces) so the chocolate will technically be the better bang for your buck In terms of benefits and how well it works; I started taking this to help support my joints since I lift and it seems to help with my recovery (I usually have a scoop of the vanilla with my coffee in the morning and a scoop of the chocolate powder with my whey protein). As a guy I have no clue if it's helping my skin or hair, but for the women I will say it's made my nails ridiculously strong. I've always had healthy nails but they're absurdly strong now, the pics I included are after growing them out for exactly one month and averaging about 1.4 scoops of collagen powder a day (I have also been using this for about half a year now too). It doesn't have added sugar or dairy which makes it a healthy alternative to creamers and as someone lactose intolerant it won't mess with your stomach at all. Technically if you want the most collagen per dollar spent (outside of getting it from eating foods that contain it) there are collagen supplements pills but I really enjoy the powder for my coffee and protein shakes and prefer them over supplements I've tried Overall 10/10, I've bought at least 5 containers now and even started trying their microgreens powder which was a smidge pricey but is also a 10/10 product

I’ve used Sports Research regular collagen peptides many times in the past. This was my first time trying the vanilla flavor & it didn’t disappoint. I’ve found with all the different collagen peptides out there Sports Research offers the best. Types I & III collagen offer many benefits to our bodies but I especially love the skin benefit. Since entailing collagen in my daily diet a couple years ago my skin is looks healthier - and I need that as I age! :) Hydrating of course is important but adding a collagen supplement to your diet is an excellent choice & you’ve found an excellent brand right here. The powder is lush compared to other brands which are more powdery. I put one scoop in my Greek yogurt each morning. I’ve found mixing it in something with substance is best. Trying to mix it with liquid was challenging & it didn’t taste very good. This blends wonderfully. From my pictures you’ll see upon opening don’t be surprised but the container is just about 1/2 full but they say it’s 16 ounces. The packaging is odd but the quality is excellent. The vanilla flavor is just right for me. It isn’t too strong & mixes nicely with the variety of yogurt I have. For the quality of this collagen the price is well worth it. I highly recommend it & will continue to purchase.

Good product, I mix it in plain tea so I don't have the cravings to eart at might.

I had trigger finger in two fingers. Within a month of 2 scoops a day in my coffee, no more pain and clicking. It tastes good too.

Great product for my hai & nails are growing like crazy. My skin seems better. But my joints don’t seem to have improved yet. The vanilla flavor is nice add to my coffee every morning. On my second order.

Easy to dissolve and has a mild vanilla taste which is great added to coffee

This has a great flavor as such supplements go, not tasting like a bunch of artificial sugars, but more like actual vanilla. Also seems much better value than others.
