plants like them :)
Update Mar 21, 2019: So I have been using these tablets for six months now. I noticed an immediate improvement with the health of my plants. Valisinarias are now out of control, and my swords and crypts are nice and full. I have used these tabs in tanks with amano shrimp and ghost shrimp, as well as several species of snail, with no issue. This stuff does work! I am a happy customer.I haven’t noticed any ammonia or giant nitrate spikes like other reviewers have mentioned. I also dose the water column with an all in one N-P-K fertilizer in addition to using these tabs, yet haven’t noticed my fish having any difficulties or my parameters jumping out of wack. However, it bears noting that my tanks are heavily planted both above and below the waterline (riparian type setup) and my tanks are medium light, non-CO2 injected. These are huge tablets. I do agree that the dosage suggested in the package seems a little confusing and if I had followed it, would probably be way too much for an aquarium. I cut them into 4ths, since that was about the size of my other tabs, and then use them sparingly just under the plants that need it most. The substrate is about 3 inches deep and I bury the tabs all the way down to the bottom. The 29 gallon tank has only ever gotten about 1 1/4 tablets at the maximum, and gets even less that that on a normal basis. My 5g has only ever gotten 1/4 a tablet, and my 10 gallon wavers between 1/4 and 1/2 a tab. Again, I just use them under the plants that look like they are struggling. I am not sure if any of the above is the reason I have better success, but I thought it would be worth mentioning. My results are anecdotal and relevant to my situation, so take it with a grain of salt. Planted tanks are a fine balance between light, the bioload from the fish stocking, nutrients available, and plant nutrient uptake. No two tanks are the same, so what works for me may not work for another. You may find you need less, or more. All we can do is test and adjust until we find the balance that is right for that particular aquarium. :)I will be buying these tablets again.(original review Sept 7, 2018: The content of these tabs look better than the brand I was using. I have high hopes. My swords, vals, and crypts should appreciate these rather large tablets.Note: As of this review I haven’t used them yet, so I am only able to rate shipping, packaging, and value. All of these things were excellent, hence the five star rating. I will update my rating once I have sufficient time to test their efficacy.)

This is really great product that I've ever used so far!
I use this for my house plant and it makes me satisfied. Great fertilizer overall. At the beginning, I use the other fertilizer then switch to Greenpro for the rest. You will not have any application side effects such as burnt or bleached with this product. It does not make plant grow as fast because of the NPK value (nutrients) but it makes my flower vibrant and healthy. It really starts by making the soil healthy and in return the flower loves it.It does take about 3 days before really noticing the difference this will really GREEN up a tree because of the iron in it. Again a great product and is especially outstanding if you have very dry seasons because it will not burn up your plant like most other fertilizers, which makes watering less tedious. Also works with pond plants.I highly recommend it!Pros : Vibrant Color, Multi Use, Easy to Install, Functionality, Great Quality, Cost.

Terrific product, just beware the label instructions
The actual product is terrific. Once I added some to the gravel near the roots of my new Bleheri sword plant, and the standard Amazon sword that has been languishing in the tank for a couple of years now, they both greened up almost immediately.Do NOT follow the dosing instructions on the packet, though, unless you are actually fertilizing plants in a large, outdoor pond setting. For an indoor aquarium of any reasonable size, two to four tabs is ludicrous. These are not tiny little aquarium root tabs, they're big, bulky tablets. Following a couple of other reviewers suggestions, I cut one up into fourths. I put 1/4 of a tab by each of the two sword plants in my 40 gallon tank, and another 1/4 by the roots of another sword plant in my 20 gallon tank. I threw the remaining 1/4 back in the bag, and the powder that resulted from trying to cut it into fourths in the watering can for my houseplants. Not sure how much it did for my houseplants, but 1/4 tab was plenty for the aquarium plants. The tablets aren't scored, and they're thick, so while they're not actually difficult to cut, they don't really cut cleanly. That's my only real complaint about the product, other than that their labeling could do better in specifying what volume of water they are envisioning when they're telling you to use 2-4 tabs per plant!

It's good aquatic plant food
I have used this product for a few years now. I am always amazed.how.fast plants perk up when it is added to a dense planted environment. Lots of fast growth and greening.

Literal fish on the package but not fish safe?!?!
Everything about this seems like it is fish safe until you receive the item and it says that the chemicals inside will harm your fish? Misleading and irresponsible, upon reading reviews other people’s fish have died. So thankful I read the back before putting them into my tank. DONT BUY THIS for your planted aquariums with fish in them.

Use with caution
It's certainly a strong fertilizer but I think it was too much for my poor 20 gallon aquarium. I did what another reviewer suggested and cut the tablet into fourths, and put only one half tablet total under my 2 inch sand bed total, near some of my sword plant roots. Ammonia and phosphate levels skyrocketed overnight. After doing an emergency water change I now have to watch my aquarium closely until things settle down again. I might use these for a pond or houseplants but I cannot recommend them for a planted aquarium, at least not one under 100 gallons. Might also be good for a plant only tank BEFORE you add the fish. Otherwise they are simply too strong and will hurt your fish if you are not careful.
