Durable, cushy, but weight is not well balanced
This ball is great. It can take pretty much anything you throw at it and come out unscathed. Throw it across the gym, step on it, whatever, it will last. I feel like I could take this ball in the face an not be injured. My only complaint is that the weight is not well centered. It is definitely heavier on one side, so if you throw and catch it, it can create some torque on your arms, legs, whatever. When doing ball transfers, it can unevenly weight one leg or arm if you don't position it correctly. As with most cushy medicine balls, this one requires some break in to develop its cushy feel. So beat it up, it can take it. I would buy another.

Worth the Extra Money to Me
Just got the 14 lb. Dynamax medicine ball today. Clearly very well made with a great look & feel. I used it right away for Wall Balls and it was awesome. I workout on my uncovered back patio (here in hot, humid Miami, Florida) and get really hot & sweaty. I had NO trouble whatsoever throwing or catching this ball off the wall/side of my house even when I was dripping with sweat. That was THE most important thing to me b/c if it slips through my hands it throws my workout off or even worse could pop me in the face or bust my nose. Yeah, it costs more than other brands, but to me quality for what I need and how long it will (hopefully) last make this Dynamax ball worth it. Very pleased with no regrets!

This is a harder working Med Ball for when your'e ready to step it up!
I was using a 10ib TKO med ball, until it split after only a couple of months of use! So I looked at some videos on YouTube & noticed that Dynama-x were used a lot, especially for the slam exercises. I'm performing these exercises more often now & wanted something that was more durable & bounced less, the less bounce the harder the work out. This ball is awesome! It's tough, it gives me a more intense work out & it doesn't roll about all over the place when you need to drop it or move it in a hurry.

WOW!
Exactly what I wanted from a medicine ball. This ball is extremely tough, and has so far stood up to my rigorous routines wonderfully. Well-constructed and balanced, it is firm enough to maintain its shape and has enough give to perform some of the more difficult medicine ball exercises. One of those exercises in particular is the one that had me worried, it involves heaving the ball over your head and slamming it to the ground as hard as you can repeatedly. This ball has taken that beating and more! SO impressed.

Great price for one of my favorite pieces of equipment.
Few pieces of athletic equipment are a versatile, simple and fun to use as the Dynamax Medicine Balls. Because they're soft, they're much safer, and you can have athletes or boot campers pass and catch them. This place has the best price I've found for them, and, unlike most other places, they don't charge for shipping, which can add up fast when you're dealing with weight equipment.

Will last forever.
Or at least it seems like it. I'm using it as a modified punching bag for certain boxing workouts (someone holds while I punch). Am also using it to toss back and forth between two people, and to throw straight up in the air in a backward launch exercise. No rips or tears, maintains shape, feels sturdy.

If you're serious about medicine balls, get this one!
Hi, I'm an amateur Crossfit enthusiast. I've bought other medicine balls for working out, but they ended up wearing out at the seams. However, this ball has shown to be reliable, and robust to wear and tear. I strongly recommend this ball if you plan to toss it around and or drop it a lot.

Great purchase.
I reviewed multiple alternatives and spoke with several crossfit friends and time and time again they recommended the dynama ball. I am very happy with my purchase as the ball keeps it's shape, is true to weight, and I was happy with learn it is made in the U.S.A.
